None of those. I prefer an original and strange end to the planet earth, the cello apocalypse. Cellos with sharpened endpins and explosive rockstops along with other fine weaponry fall from the sky to wipe out the human race and the only way to stop it is by playing the violin or viola, no matter if you're a violinist/what-ever-you-call-someone-who-plays-the-viola-ist or some one who doesn't know what low two even means. The cello apocalypse would probably end in a great war between the upper and lower strings causing a climax better than any other apocalypse. Quite original and worth surviving.

We'll probably still be dumb enough to be wiped out by a giant rock. Failing that I know for practical reasons it won't be zombies, and is unlikely to be robots. World War 3 is possible but it isn't likely that a world super power will use WMD's since everyone is scared to in exception to a few terrorist nutcases in the world but they don't have the volume of WMD's that they would need to kill off the whole population.

If we don't get killed off by space junk or some colossal screw-up with the sun hundreds of millions of years from now then maybe first contact with aliens wont go well for us. But the thing to consider there is that any alien species would have reached a huge level of social maturity to be able to actually leave it's own galaxy. The only real interest in starting a war with us would be for resources, which are readily available in many many more places than our tiny dirtball we call home.

So in short, still going with the giant space rock, and once we build up the technology to deal with that I don't think we are going to be wiped out.

Like other people said, a zombie apocalypse would probably be the most easily survivable, seeing as nearly every household has some type of gun/weapon. I think a zombie apocalypse could be alright.

To be honest all of those are awesome! However after reading the details of all the options, Zombie Plague would have to be my pick. Unless the Plague was caused by airbourn pathogens and lives in water, then that would suck. However, World War 3 sounds the most realistic of all, but 99% of the population will most likely die. Also, the 0.5% will become radioactive ghouls or creatures. So yeah, Zombies are cool. Gamers would totally survive any of those, we are prepared. . .sorta

I VOTED Mars attack, but, in reality, I WANT something supernatural to happen. Something like a battle between Heaven and Hell and Earth is caught in the middle. Or that, all of a sudden, human babies are born dead or zombie-like because the reincarnation cycle had ended, therefore humans are either born dead or like zombies who've forgotten how to reproduce. Thus the final generation/age of man is made-up of zombie-people who will die off and leave nothing to keep us going.

The bassists would probably be killed or forced into deconstructing their basses and using the scraps to make cellos, why?, Because the cellos would target basses and cellos first to get more cellos into their army, why?, They knew that violinists and what-ever-you-call-someone-who-plays-the-viola-ists are all over the place and they want them dead.
