As the title says what your favorite GTA? For me it's easly GTA Vice City mostly beacose Tommy Vercetti is awesome, nice city fun missions, weapons awesome 80's cars N' shit, I only wished you could do more thith the game after finnishing everything but whatever.... It's still my favorite! (I acculy prefer SR2 but still preffer VC if it had as many things to do like SR2 so VC is still the best if you added a few many things) also GTA III is totally on second place for me^^

So what's your favorite?

3 was the first of the new era that put it on the map, so we got to give it props. But Vice City was what did it for me. San Andreas was... I don't know... not that good though. I mean, the driving around was fun, but no more than the other games. And the extra systems didn't really do much for me. In fact, that game was pretty forgettable over all.

Vice City by a long, long, looooooooong way.

To be honest the old top downs were more enjoyable at the time then any of the other 3D ones with the exception of GTA 3 (first 3d one)

I absolutely loved San Andreas. The character customization, the story, Samuel L. Jackson, the giant world, planes, Bigfoot (allegedly). What's not to love.

Yeah...it was only a "mission pack" but it's still my favorite GTA, I'm fairly certain I still have it around here somewhere.

I've made a list:

1. GTHorse IV (Red Dead Redemption, for those of us who haven't seen Yahtzee's interpretation of RDR yet)

2. GTA: Vice City

3. GTA III

4. GTA IV

5. GTA San Andreas

I love them all, and favour various ones for different reasons, but on the whole I'd say GTA IV. GTA 3 has a great soundtrack and a ridiculous amount of nostalgia attached, and at the time I'd never played anything like it, Vice City has a great setting and story, San Andreas has the unrealistic fun, but IV has a nice balance of each aspect. The story and characters are interesting, the world is crafted with so much fucking detail, and it has a lot of replayability. I disagree with people that say there is nothing to do, there is, the multiplayer component online allows for a lot of fun, as you can just make up game modes and play them with friends or people. Also, I like the driving and shooting mechanics a lot more than previous GTA's, the ragdoll is hilarious too.

Vice City. It would probably be San Andreas but I've never played it, just heard it added a lot of really cool stuff so yeah.

Vice City. Can't really say why, I just generally enjoyed it more than I did any of the others. The missions were pretty awesome, I suppose. And the music.

Ahh yes, I completely forgot about the music! That is one reason alone to pick Vice City over the rest.
