Title says it all. Which of the Marvel superhero movies would you count as your favourite? Please bear in mind that there are too many for me to spread out on the available poll options, so I'm going to have to condense them a bit here. Please give a reason for your choices.

Guardians of the Galaxy is everything I want in a movie.

It's funny, fast paced, amazing casting, awesome characters, brilliant music, and just a feast for the eyes.

Another for Guardians of the Galaxy. Great mix of humor, action, and fantastic casting/characters have made me love it. I haven't seen the new Thor or Captain America yet, so that may change when I do.

I guess I kind of bias toward Avengers since it's one of the few films to ever set about a film where most of the casts had their own films beforehand.

So far only seen
Captain America: The first one. Entertaining but nothing more than that. Something about nazi's, superserum
that takes vilian into space

Iron Man 3. This one I really liked and I thought the twist with the mandarin was clever and funny. Note that I don't read a lot of american superhero comics so I wasn't buthurt.

Guardians of the Galaxy. A fun popcorn movie with likable characters and some funny scenes
the scene where the raccoon is telling the rest his escape plan while Groot is already busy performing step 1 in the background is probably the best one
altough I found the final battle tiring and just wanted it to be over so I could go home

The very first Iron Man movie. RDJ playing the role he was born for, Jeff Bridges in a fun villainous role, and a pretty interesting origin story that doesn't come across as mandatory or telephoned like others. It's also important that it works as a stand-alone movie, unlike other Marvel tent-poles.

It's not that it's new, it's really that I legitimately liked everything about Guardians of the Galaxy. Action, good characters, good worlds, and good plots, which most other Marvel movies don't have.

Yeah another one for GOG, it's a close one though with The Avengers just following close behind. GOG wins out because the set pieces are just larger in scale, the movie itself had less down time (i.e time when something funny, or interesting wasn't happening) and they some how managed to make a talking Racoon work, which when I first read about GOG all those years ago I just could not see how they could do it.

I think I'll go with Iron Man because it just works. I would have put The Winter Soldier down.

P.S. Did anyone else think Tony should have been going "I am Iron Man. Nananana.Nanana." Just a fun thing I like to think he does everytime puts on the suit

Guardians of the Galaxy.

There are a couple of other movies that are just as awesomesaucy -- Iron Man and The Avengers -- but this one turned an unknown team with at leaat one member not even I, a huge comics nerd, had heard of earlier, into a worldwide success.

I like that.

Guardians hands down. I don't have much knowledge about Marvel but damn this movie was kick ass. Amazing humor, action and pacing. I just love it, and you hear this from someone who is extremely cynicall about modenr movies.

No love for Captain America: Winter Soldier? That was an amazing film and my favorite out of the MCU.

Mine is Between the Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, I find Winter Soldier just works as an action flick really well, and it was great to see Cap in a stand alone film set in the "present."

As for Guardians, it just hit all the right spots for a movie like that, kind of hard to put in to words. Love Vin Diesel in it though, learning her was going to play Groot made my day.

I wanted to say that it was Winter Soldier or Avengers, but Guardians of the Galaxy remains the only one that I went to the theater to see twice, good movies all around. I wait eagerly for the next one to hit the silver screen.

I should watch Thor again because I liked it really much and it left me really impressed so I usually throw that one as my answer in this question. And also because it's most likely a different answer from which most others give :p
So yeah, but I have really enjoyed all of them.

I haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy yet, so for now it's Captain America 2. Unlike most of the other Marvel movies, including The Avengers, there were real stakes in Winter Soldier and things generally took me by surprise. And beyond that it was a terrific action movie. The connection between Cap and the Winter Soldier felt horribly tacked on, but that's really the only blemish on this film.

First for me would probably the first Captain America movie. Odd choice, I know, but I enjoyed my time with it more than any other marvel movie yet. I just found it a ton of good, ol-timey fun. Runner-up would probably have to be Guardians of the Galaxy, I think.

I think it's a bit of a toss-up between Guardians of the Galaxy and the first two Iron Man movies. Because on one hand, the Iron Mans have more delicious snark, but on the other, Guardians has a talking raccoon; it's a very difficult choice to make. I guess I'd edge more towards Guardians, since, while it may not be quite as gloriously snarky as Iron Man, it's still snarky enough. And has a talking raccoon. Anthropomorphic woodland critters that murder things make me way more happy than they probably should.

Iron Man 1 was the most impressive to me. I didn't think a comic-book movie could be more than 'meh to ok' but Iron Man changed all that and set the standard for future comic-book movies to come.

Close runner-up to The Avengers for being a load of fun!

I'd probably put another vote for Guardians of The Galaxy. Out of all the marvel movies I've seen (which is all of them) it certainly felt the most fun and was certainly the most entertaining with the most interesting setting. And I love that it was able to introduce a new cast of characters without devoting about 1/3rd of the movie to an origin story.
