I try and I try but I just can't do evil... I'm always a goody two-shoes.
This. I try to be neutral in a lot of games, but it never works. For instance, in Fallout 3, after a couple of hours, I was already at "Very Good" karma. I hadn't even done any of the "major" moral decisions yet, not even disarming the Megaton nuke... I'm too much of a pacifist to harm anything that doesn't try to murder me first. Good's the most fun for me anyhow, so I don't really have any problems with my goody-goody-ness.

Goody-two-shoes characters annoy me, so I play evil, neutral or chaotic good characters.

Not entirely evil but definitely not the goody-two-shoes type. More like Dirty Harry. I'm a mean badass but I know when I've crossed the line. All my characters are like Renegade Shepard - ruthless and trigger-happy but still saviours of the universe. No baby eating, I'd rather feed them to dogs. Disgusting little brats.

As for the choices, I act on my instinct. Mostly they lean towards "evil".

These days I'm usually the good guy, especially the case in Mass Effect where I did everything in my power to avoid renegade actions.

I personally try to always be "Good." It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. This started in KoTOR 2 where I couldn't even think of being Dark Side and has carried on. Though I like games like Prototype where being evil doesn't make you "Evil"

I always try to actually choose the option that I would personally choose were I in that position, on the first playthrough anyway.

Sometimes that nets me 'good' points, sometimes 'bad' points. In Mass Effect for instance on the first playthrough I was mostly a paragon, whereas in Jade Empire I typically ended up on the Dark Side of the Force.

This is mostly since you are technically "Evil" in prototype.

I know. But I mean that I can't like open up the pause menu and then look at a bar and think "I could've been good *sigh*"

Where's the one for "Whichever choice if find most agreeable at the moment unless the game rewards consistency"
You for some reason gain command of the entire human fleet and are given the option to say "Fuck the council", say "I'm not willing to risk letting space Cthulhu win for three jerks who have been nothing but a hindrance!" or "I'm willing to risk letting space Cthulhu kill everything for three jerks who did nothing but stand in my way for the whole game" It seems obvious that the middle option is doing the most good, but they had the audacity to give me jerk points for picking it.

I usually just think what I would do IRL and stick with it throughout the game. And then replay it doing exactly the opposite. But this is in games where every character in the game is well developed, and you actually give a sh1t about them, like Fallout 3. In games like Infamous I just go full evil first time and full good second time.

I have a hard time being evil, I feel guilty when being evil, when I went through KOTOR as evil it was hard Couldn't even be extremely evil, I mean I was full evil but I did the good thing on Kashyyk, I was more of the smart calm Evil guy who made smart choices not slaughter choices, but I was evil!...and I hated it.

I play the game out through multiple times, and most of the first playthroughs are "good". Second time around, it's evil as evil can be. Third, it's an attempt at neutral or me playing trying to make whatever choices I myself actually want to make.

The third playthrough is typically where the game stops being fun >.>

I always play good first because you usually get better stuff and/or endings for it. Second playthrough I'm evil, but I'm very cautious about it. I don't know, it's just hard for me to take the "fuck you" path.

So, Escapist, I ask you: which moral choice do you most often go with? Do you prefer to be a saint, with everyone loving you and praising your deeds, or do you prefer to be a terrible, evil baby eater? I know some games don't allow you to be neutral (Bioshock, for example), but is that what you prefer to be when allowed?
Not so, Bioshock 2 allows for a neutral path, and it's pretty much my favorite ending.
Damn is that a good balance between child-killing(Literally!) evil and happy sunshine good. So bittersweet...

Good. I can never bring myself to play the bad guy in almost any RPG game.

Take KoTOR for example. I play the though as the good guy first, then I think, "Hm, I'll mix it up a bit and play the bad guy!" 30 Minutes in, and I give up. Can't do it.

I usually go evil my first playthrough, and good the next. I usually stick to one or the other unless I can get something really good by going neutral.
