Inventor Troy Hurtubise has done it again. Previously known for making a suit to protect against grisly bear attacks, a bomb-proof padding, and a helmet able to protect it's wearer's head from a blowtorch for over ten minutes, this pioneer engineer has made something a bit more intriguing to the gamer crowd: The Trojan Body Armor Suit. This suit of armor is the first ever ballistic suit of armor. This suit was single-handedly made by Troy in his garage, taking him 2 years and costing him a hefty $150,000. It's been tested (by Troy himself) to be bullet-proof, shock proof, and able to block shrapnel, but not as a suit in it's whole. "It's actually very difficult to find someone who's actually willing to have a contract to shoot me," he jokes. Even at it's maximum, the suit only weighs 50 lbs. Troy is optimistic with the purpose of his invention. He plans to market it off to use in America and Canada in the war in the middle east. "It can be suited to a soldier for $2000" he says. It comes with countless gadgets, such as a voice recording system and morphine to allow soldiers some time to give their last words before they die. The recording system is detachable so that another soldier can take it to the dead man's family. It also includes night vision, a concealed knife, a remote control camera mounted on an RC car, a voice masking device, and much more. Troy is currently attempting to market it off to the military.
