Predict this years "game of the year"

Though its been said many times, I will say it again to reinforce how likely it is, Skyrim.

Mass Effect 3, with Portal 2 as a close second.

Skyrim could beat ME3 if they truly learn from the mistakes they made with Oblivion and make it much, much more like Morrowind, but I doubt that will happen. It'll still be a great game, though.

I don't expect Deus Ex 3 to blow anyone away, but I hope I'm surprised.

There is many a spectacular trailer for upcoming games this year and so far it's hard to tell, but I think we can all agree it's not going to be dragon age 2. Now that my little dig at this years most disappointing game is over, I'm off to squee like a little girl over Deus Ex, battlefield 3, skyrim... *consults release list* Brink, Alice ( you never know it might happen) ghost recon, duke nukem and the witcher 2. I didn't mention portal 2 because I know if I get too excited over it I'm setting myself up for disappointment. After the awards I'm sure I'll cry as the award goes to some game less innovative than rubbing two sticks together to make fire just because it was the latest in a line of overly popular games, Call of Duty for instance.

witcher 2 or skyrim. i havent seen anything else that is coming out this year that looks better.

i would think skyrim will win though just cause of the mod community that surrounds elder scroll games

Morrowind was GOTY, Oblivion was GOTY; let's face it, all Skyrim needs to do is have a few odd gameplay tweaks and a new campaign and it'll be GOTY as well. Since it's getting much more, it's pretty much guaranteed the title.
Every gamer loves a good open-world RPG, right?

And this year's CoD title will inevitably win a public vote award.

Skyrims already won it sorry, but thats that ~ME3 is the only thing close to competition reviewers LOOOOOOVE Bethesda games when it comes to awards it's like whenever Blizzard releases something the rest of the industry shut's up and pays attention.

(seriously some peoiple think portal? really something that will doubtlessly be a 4-8 hour experience? with a very niche audience. Nah no chance)

I hope deep inside that Battlefield wins, I know that Skyrim will be the best, I know CoD8 will sell more copies than the population of the damn planet and that Portal and Mass Effect will be excellent games
