Well that's a nice change, I guess. How about just releasing it to everyone at the same time instead?
yeah instead the map pack contains just 4 MAPS. and some new weaponsvivalahelvig said:I bet they would like a copy of 1943 instead of being allowed to pay early.
At least this adds more than just 5 maps for 15$.

Yes, by having a one day only program with different days for each region and barely doing anything to tell people about it for a promise that it would be included on disc for ALL PS3 copies of the game.CpnChaos said:People, 1943 can be had now! EA is fixing this issue! Let it go!
I know WTF!Whoracle said:Wait, am I understanding this right?
You pay for the expansion stuff, which you then have to unlock in-game?
As in "You pay for the privilege of being allowed to unlock something"?
What has the gaming industry come to?
Meh, I'm packing Javelin, using it for vehicles, dont need to waste explosives on enemies I can aim my gun tbh.Kalezian said:vivalahelvig said:I bet they would like a copy of 1943 instead of being allowed to pay early.

actually, I think EA/DICE went back and agreed to give 1943 to the PS3 crowd, either immediately, or along with the launch of the expansion pack.
OT: Meh, I can wait, Im already tired of getting killed by no-skill engineers and their god damned Rocket Launchers.
To be fair the SCAR-H uses a bigger round than alot of the assault rifles do and in reality it's closer to a G3 than an M4 in terms of range and firepower.Kalezian said:GreatTeacherCAW said:I always hear people complaining about getting rocket spammed, but in my 20 hours online, I can safely say that I've been killed in pretty normal ways. Never rocket spammed. Only time I get rocketed is when I'm crouched in a building trying to take a flag in Conquest, but that just makes sense. And it has only happened about 3 times. Everyone else I've talked to is also curious about this rocket spamming, since it never happens to them.Kalezian said:vivalahelvig said:I bet they would like a copy of 1943 instead of being allowed to pay early.

Do people get killed by the rocket launcher once and immediately cry out that it was rocket spam? I wonder.
I'll wait the extra week, since I have it on 360. I am extra excited for it, though.
Actually, me and my squad just rage-quit a TDM server due to the sheer amount of rocket spam.
When we didn't get killed by a rocket, it was a M320.
I wouldn't ocmplain about it much if they reduced the damage vs. infantry that the rockets do, since for example the RPG-7V2 can either use Thermobaric warheads or anti-vehicle warheads, that being the anti tank warheads have a very small splash damage radius since it is for primarily penetrating armor, and the Thermobaric warheads for increased anti-personel use.
The main difference between the two is that they are very ineffective against the others effective target.
So either the rockets need to do less damage to vehicles, or they need to do less damage to infantry.
Besides that, the Engineers carbines need to have a reduced damage as well since they are not full fledged assault rifles, but still more powerful than the PDW's. I cant count the times that someone with the SCAR was able to kill be at longer ranges while I was using an Assault Rifle or LMG.
And three or four new vehicles, Don't forget those VTOL fighters, also, Bulldozers.42 said:yeah instead the map pack contains just 4 MAPS. and some new weaponsvivalahelvig said:I bet they would like a copy of 1943 instead of being allowed to pay early.
