PSP on my TV?

When I got a PSP I bought this adapter that hooks to an HDTV so you can play on the big screen. However, I tested it out and it looked like utter crap. I decided to not even use the thing and just settle on the small PSP screen.

However, if you know of one and can recommend one I might try it out.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that the resolution isn't really my problem. Sure it looks a bit more pixelated but that doesn't bother me that much. The main problem is the screen color looks terrible, and there are these random lines that go across the screen.

Well of course it's going to comparatively look like crap. You are blowing up the PSPs resolution to fit your TVs...which has a higher native resolution....

There is no way around this really. Though I found most 2D games look fine when I plug em into my TV. Although I generally settled with plugging my PSP into my spare CRT monitor near my bed, so I can lie in bed and play them on a bigger screen...which surprisingly is a lot better than using an HDTV.

I'm not expecting it to be in HD, it just has a lot of discoloration and lines on the screen.

sounds like there may be something wrong with the cable itself then. Have you tried at looking at some reviews or troubleshooting?
