Psychonauts Creator Calls Bobby Kotick Names

Yet another reason why i need to high-five tim schafer before i die.

I remember playstation magazine did an article about the infinity ward incident, there was a picture of bobby kotick at the bottom of the page and so i drew a trident, horns and a tail on him. He is on my list of people who i would happily do jail time for murdering.

Also, why is the article named "Psychonauts creator calls bobby kotic names" why not just say tim schafer, everyone knows and loves him (they better fucking love him).

... unless he's one of those sacred figures whose name shall not be shat upon by our mere mortal tounges in which case i will go crucify myself now.

Ok, now I'll definitely buy Brütal Legend even if I don't think I'll like it, just to encourage him...

Go Tim!

I don't really understand what happened with Brutal Legend. Activision said "No we're not gonna publish it" and then when Double Fine tried to publish it with someone else, Activision said "No we were gonna publish it I'm suing you grawr!"?

I agree 100%. He has contributed nothing but bad things, he's a parisite feeding off of great reative talents like infinity ward whilst pushing them to make more and more profit-driven decisions.

And much like many others in this thread, I feel the gaming industry would be greatly improved by Kotick recieving a visit from the milkman.

You know what, I never had any desire to play Brutal Legend up to this point, and i've been too lazy to download Psychonauts. But now I think I'll get them both.

+1 for Schafer. Kotick is a money grabbing wanker who is out of touch with the average gamer, casual and hardcore, he's more harmful to the industry than not.

I'm going to buy Psychonauts again now. That is how awesome Schafer is.

After Brutal Legend I didn't think I could love that man any more...

Hopefully other developers will start speaking out against Kotick, Would it not be a wonderful sight to see every game Dev we know and love with Torches and Pitchforks outside of Activisions HQ?

Also, Go buy Brutal Legend, right the fuck now!
This right here is why my motto is what it is : "If nobody argues the unpopular side it's not a discussion, it's just working up the courage to grab the pitchforks and torches."

No matter how much it hurts to argue the other side, it has to be done from time to time.

Tim is so brilliant, and it really shines through in his games (you can imagine my glee when I heard there was a game about heavy metal and Tim Schafer made it, and it was FUCKING awesome)
Kotick needs to listen to the man who makes quality instead of quantity

Bah. Kotick Sucks, and, is it just me, or are games with the Activision name usually of lower quality(i.e., Singularity)

I approve of this. Tim Schafer is a real developer with original ideas, not just making "Shoot terrorists in a desert environment with lots of bloom #6273' over and over.
