I'm really not a fan of all the deleting the new management is doing. They basically came in here and started throwing away all our things. Hundreds of thousands of posts have been deleted since they took over. Defy never caused such destruction.

I didn't realize it was back, and I suspect most other people don't either. Nobody is gonna use it if nobody realizes it's an option. All of the featured content discussion on the main 2.0 page is via Disquis and doesn't seem to connect to the forums, which I suspect is part of the problem.
And the fact that, not unlike Defy, the new management seems to be having a rough time telling us about really important stuff going on with the site, like posting a note or something. Like how Russ Pitts is gone and there STILL isn't an official announcement about "Hey, the EiC has left. Here's why ". You know, stuff like that.
Edit: Ok, I see there was an announcement made, though that raises the issue of people not checking the announcement forum. I know I'd completely forgotten about it, so I'll have to remember to check it more often.
