Pub Club What Now?

I ask this to Pub Club members. I am not one of you. But I ask you this: does the 20 Dollar subscription justify your additional benefits? I am curious about it. The main appeal I see is the contests. However, most of these are limited to the United States, which cuts out a lot of (i.e EVERYONE ELSE) people.

The HD videos? I can live without.

Custom Forum Title? Tempting, but ultimately meaningless.

Ads Gone? They never bothered me.

Personal Forum? Nothing the Off Topic can't handle.

It's just my take on it, but how do you feel about your subscription? Do you feel you've got your money's worth?

My opinion: Yes.

I found the advertisements on videos frustrating especially the 30 second ones that don't have an option to skip. Clicking on something accidently does not navigate me away from the site or make a new pop-up, which was a major annoyance, now all it does is navigate me to another page within the Escapist.

HD videos are ok, only good for animation videos and not stuff like The Big Picture and the Jimquisition.

Personal forum meh.

Custom title also meh, but a good idea.

I paid £12 which isn't that much in my eyes and i felt justified, i helped out the Escapist and got a few benefits from it. Win-Win in my eyes.

A buck sixty six a month isn't killing me and I don't like seeing internet ads ever since I got a virus that killed my computer from one.

Being in school at the moment, I am very short on cash, and the deals and savings don't apply outside of the US, so I can't justify it for myself at the moment.
