I'm only going to be happy when Plants vs Zombies comes to the PSP, to be honest I'm surprised that it hasn't been ported to literally every platform knowing how much Popcap likes money.

So... cute... and... awesome...

Agree. She is RIDICULOUSLY adorable. Her name is Laura Shigihara and her cute little girl singing voice is like some epic doomsday weapon that shoots rainbows and puppies.
Am I the only one who thought 'meh'. Just seems like another situation of looks making her more popular than she should be, by all means she's reasonably talented but nothing special. I had a look at the comments for this video and they were full of "you're so pretty" remarks. I looked at some other videos of hers and these were, once again, full of unwarranted praise solely due to her looks, for example her playing Aeris/Aerith's Theme from Final Fantasy VII on the piano was quite sloppy but the comments were praising her looks (and by extension her ability), some even asking her for her to teach them the piano.
I'm going to have to disagree with the part about her looks making her more popular than she should be. If she were just a cute girl, I wouldn't pay attention to her. Heck, if she were a cute girl who could play the piano I still wouldn't pay attention to her. The reason I've become a fan is because she really is an incredible composer.
She composed the entire soundtrack for Plants vs Zombies, which people raved about before anyone even knew what she looked like. Not only did reviewers like the music from the game, but if you look at random youtube uploads of the in-game music (like "Ultimate Battle" for example, which is an awesome track [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFqQGqLmej8]), you'll see that people loved that theme long before they ever saw her. She also wrote/composed the now ubiquitous theme song which people almost universally loved before anyone had any idea of her physical appearance. And she just composes a ton of great music outside of PvZ too (for the rpg she's making, for other games, etc.).
These songs of hers are always playing on my iPod:

Also keep in mind that most of the music on her youtube is stuff she composed herself. Probably one of my favorite ones is The Roof Level [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg1jesy5PlI&feature=PlayList&p=62BCD31953AC7C18&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=5]. As a composer I think she's very special... I don't think this is a case of "she's cute so she gets more attention than she deserves." I do agree that people are silly to focus so much on looks... which ironically has probably made it tougher for her to come across as a legitimate composer (since maybe people think "oh, her cuteness is what got her that job" as opposed to actually looking at her compositions, which are quite impressive... and this is coming from a classically trained musician/long-time VGM-fan. Normally I'm quite the cynic about these things, but I really like her compositions
