Another option lack... It's not that the concept isn't decent, but I don't think the movie looks... well, very good. Just me though. I didn't grow up with superheroes, and a lot of superhero movies fail to appeal to me as it is. The only reason I saw the new batman movies is because of Christopher Nolan even.

I have no intention of seeing it, as it seems exceedingly stupid. But why on Earth would I protest it? It's just a lame movie I don't care for. Nothing to get a hissy fit about I think.

As for cussing, I can't say I mind. God know I curse enough myself. But still I don't find it interesting in a movie. Unless there is some sort of point to it. If there isn't it becomes tiring and obnoxious.

Oh, and when I saw a trailer I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a new movie a lá Super Hero Movie. Needless to say, that didn't endear the film to me.

Where's the option for "Is a young 'un so will have to take the advice of MovieBob at the end of the Losers review"?

I'm not much for seeing movies in theaters, but if it's on HBO or Starz or something like that, I might give it a watch. It looks like it could be good, but why does Nicholas Cage have to be in every movie these days?

Yes, if only to do my bit in pissing off the self-appointed moral guardians.

I am normally the guy that gets pissed off about superhero movies.

I saw Kick-Ass twice, and I can honestly say it is both worthy of its namesake, and awesome. Comic fans will not be disappointed, and movie fans will at least be able to appreciate what they did on a limited budget. Some of the visual effects look distinctly "3 years ago," and that's really the only thing I can conceivably complain about.

I foresee this movie becoming "required viewing" for nerd culture.

People complaining about stuff being "too controversial"... have a look at stuff made in Asia.
Yeah, NOW you have something to really complain about! Too bad people won't care, sorry :p

idk. to me it looks like just another comic-made-movie film that every studio and their mom is doing, but i haven't seen it yet so i can't judge.

Saw it a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed it, but I found some of the plot changes between the comic and movie a bit random and, well, dumb. But then, I'm not a film maker.
