I've already seen it. Twice.

Fantastic movie. Big Daddy and Hit-Girl stole the show.

Already saw it, last week. It was great, and Hit Girl stole the show (at least in the scenes she was in.) I'd see it again if a buddy who hadn't seen it wanted to go. As for protesting: when will protesters realize raising a fuss just generates more revenue for the films/albums/books/etc that are being protested against?

...unless they're scams cooked up by the various studios/publishers...yeah, I could believe that...

If I could get the money together I would definitely go see it. I'm probably going to have to wait until it comes out on dvd though.

I'm not exactly excited to see it, although I probably will at some point. Gritty in your face writing that seems meant to agitate you isn't really something that floats my boat. I'm sure it's a good movie, it just doesn't seem like one I would particularly enjoy. Having a pushover for a main character doesn't sell well with me either, although I'm sure (from small gleanings on wiki) they have the appropriate plot twists to make it worthwhile, however centering on that aspect of the character for the promos doesn't recommend the movie to me either.

(For perspective, I wasn't all that taken with Watchmen either. It was extremely well done, just not my cup of tea)

Even though I hear the comics were supposed to exemplify why people should NOT attempt to be superheros in real life, I think the movie is both entertaining and shows in sufficient depth the wrongness inherent in the concept of teen or preteen superheroes and -heroines. It's something to make you think instead of what a lot of movies do, i.e. make you sit still long enough and with enough endorphins coursing through you to ring a few more bucks out of the people you recommend it to.

Is it physicly possible to dislike a movie with a minigun jetpack, little girl that slaughters people, along with many other awsome things?

I thought it was pretty good. I can understand the controversy (Nick Cage shoots his daughter in the chest), bit I still think it's overblown.

I've seen it, I found it a very entertaining film. Sure, it's in bad taste, but that's the kind of films I love!

I enjoyed it a lot more than I enjoyed the comic book, I'll say that much. I thought the movie came together much better.

As for those who are protesting it...it's a film, guys. A dumb action film at that. I doubt anyone's going to be influenced by it.
Says you! *Dons superhero costume* TOASTMAN AWAY!

OT: I've seen it. 'Twas hilarious.

went to see it last week, it was AWESOME!

it deviates from the comic (I wont call it a graphic novel, its a comic) at some points but that just keeps you guessing that much more.
