No, but I hope this catches on. It would be nice to see all the advertisements, billboards, etc. made illegal.

Hell no. I just bought a '72 Chevelle, and it wasn't because I want to pull my hands away from the wheel.

I love the feeling of the engine through the wheel, and the reverberation through the seat and the raw power of it at my fingertips.

I may be different, but I enjoy driving. I enjoy having a car that doesn't have power brakes, or power steering, because (quoting Patches O'Hoolahan) "You gotta take it by the haunches and hump it into submission."

Sure the technology may be outstanding but the idea is absolute idiocy. It's just destined to end up in twisted burning mangled hell. e.g.

Scenario 1:
"I'm sorry officer, I didn't see that mother and pram step out into the road as I had to keep my eyes straight ahead."

Scenario 2:
"I'm sorry officer, I saw that mother and pram step out into the road and this stupid eye driving thing made the car leap onto the pavement."

No, to short an attention span. Hell you wouldn't even be able to look in the mirrors or anything to check for other drivers as well. That would be horribly unsafe.

No. When driving, you have to be always looking around and surveying the environment to watch out for other cars/people. This idea just wouldn't work.

Are you kidding me, if I see something that I am attracted to, the I might run that attractive thing over.

It would be scary for the person your about to run over.

"I'll just step out into the road without lookin-OMG I'M ABOUT TO BE RUN OVER!!!"
*dives out of way*
"Phew, made it-OMG THEY'RE COMING BACK FOR A SECOND GO!!"

And this would be repeated ad infinitum

yes, and It doesn't even need to hover it just has to make that hovering sound and I'm sold. And I've wanted to post this when I hear about neat new gadgets forever so I'm just going to make it myself.
I think of this literally every time I see a new gizmo, gadget or enchancment.

Oh heck no!

Haven't you seen that Seinfeld episode of Kramer stacking the car when checking out the woman only wearing a bra?
