According to Runic Games boss Max Schafer, Torchlight II could support up to eight players [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/106771-Torchlight-2-Could-Have-More-Multiplayer-Than-You-Need] in multiplayer. How many will you be playing the game with?

Also, who else is more excited for Torchlight 2 than they are for Diablo 3?

I won't be playing Torchlight 2. I believe the first Torchlight was fun but that's it.

Is the question "How many other people?" I mean, technically I count as a person and since there isn't a "I'll be playing on my own" option it implies that the '1' answer is just yourself on your own. Then again, the question is "How many people will you be playing with?" which implies that it's people other than you.

...either way: I voted '2'.

I only play those type of games with close friends. I just don't trust strangers when loot is involved. :s

No, but, seriously though, Diablo-style gameplay is really not something I care for when playing alone, but I would love to play it with a bunch of friends.

The answer is probably 2, if I get around to getting the game.
