Captain Marvel (from DC) or the Fantastic Four are my favorite. I like Superman and Batman, but nowhere near the previous ones.

Iron Man!

partly because he is kick ass and partly because he is one of the few that isn't a superhero to avenge his parent/aunt/pet goldfish.

Batman is my personal favourite.

... I voted Batman, and it says I voted 'other'. Everything hates me today. First the microwave, now this...

Pretty much this. He's like the sane Bruce Wayne, who actually comes out as being a superhero, and who lives in a town where people aren't dumb enough to not realise he's the only guy in the place that could afford that stuff.

Id say Lobo but h e doesnt really count as superhero, more as anti-hero.
From the more popular ones id stick with batman, mostly because the setting he is put into is the most interesting.

Die Fledermaus would be, but alas, he's TV only as far as I know.
