although i really cannot which one of all those BFGs is the coolest.

only real negative is its max effective range of 400m and its 10-20 round clip (although that is huge for a sniper, that small for a weapon with that rate of fire)

I don't even know where to begin with my explanation about the awesomeness of the Gravity Gun. It turns innocent looking objects you find around in the post-apocalyptic world into a deadly weapon at your disposal. Even buckets and garden gnomes can kill Combine soldiers with a precise hit at the correct distance. Sure, it doesn't shoot arrows or lasers or anything besides a strike of electricity but ask the poor bastards who got a car engine to the face and the zombies decapitated by the flying saw-blades.
BFG 9000. Or, to go a bit obscure, Strife's Mauler, alt-fire. A big ball of death that explodes and fires off smaller balls of death!
The Chicago Typewriter from Resident evil 4. It took me a while to raise enough money to by the gun, but damn, just walk into a room full of Gandos and go Tony Montana on their sorry ass.
othershotgun and pistol, that's all you need, and Doom 3 proved it by making the shotgun able to kill off a fucking Pinky Demon with a single shot well placed
