Sega released a trailer [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/104194-Watch-Segas-Captain-America-Kick-Nazis-in-the-Neck] for its upcoming videogame Captain America. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't really show us too much of the game - there are only very brief glimpses of combat and the game world. Based on the trailer, are you more or less excited about the upcoming Captain America game?

I don't really care about Captain America, so the trailer can be as good as it wants to be, I'll still not be interested.

It didn't really seem to do anything... Just looked like another Action/Adventure or whatever genre that is.

Not a whole lot happening in the trailer. The combat looked reminiscent of a slightly more aggressive Final Fantasy XIV (or a Dynasty Warriors game), they could at least have added appropriate sound effects.

It's like the game was on mute while the narrator talked about it and played around with a drum set.

There is some potential there, maybe. But I'm not too excited.

It looks pretty sucky. But I didn't know anything about it before the trailer so I guess just by knowledge of it I'm more interested.

One thing that doesn't sell either it or the film to be is I can't get over how bad Captain America's costume looks. They should have gone with the Ultimate Captain America 1940's design.

Eh, I dunno . . .

I've never been a huge fan of superhero stuff, period, never mind Captain America. I might have had a stronger response if the opposition were anything other than Nazis. I know that's how the character got his start, but even a trip to the South Pacific would have been more interesting than yet another weird science Nazi-fest.

It looks like a pretty generic action game. They should have put more work into it. I think Captain America is the shit but this game certainly doesn't make him seem too interesting.

The trailer looks rough but there's definite promise there.. of course, and especially when it comes to movie based games, you never ever ever ever judge the quality of the game on it's trailer. I don't care how epic the trailer may have looked, a good trailer doesn't make a good game.

Didn't know about the game before seeing it. Didn't feel I was at a loss for not knowing after seeing it.

Trailer wasn't too exciting, and I really don't care about the game... Superheroes are silly.

looks like new skins on a prince of persia engine...but not every game can be an arkham asylum or bioshock with originality

Meh, it looks like another hack n' slash/action adventure game that'll only get around 70% for reviews. I'm not too interested.

I agree with geekcj. Gives the impression of a skin over prince engine. On the other hand is very little what we can see of the mechanic so...
Although, if it is similar to prince of persia maybe it won't suck too much
