Looking Good. although this may not looks like best thing in the world but looks leap and bound better than anything borderlands and just more fun.

im expecting it to be a great 8/10 game. very impressed by everything they show.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I'm still not totally sold, but then again I have too many games at the moment that I'm working my way through so I'm not really excited for any new ones right now. It does look fun though, but I wan't to get more info about it before I think about handing over my money.

Meh, this is nothing like Borderlands so I can't compare.
Rage and Borderlands both draw heavily from the Mad Max aesthetic, so I think there's some grounds of comparison there at least.

TBH, way back in the day, Rage and Borderlands did kind of merge together in my head. Only difference is that Borderlands has made its own identity while Rage so far hasn't.

Though granted, I've never played any game from either series, so it's a bit of a moot point.

Oh, yeah, the setting is kinda similar. They've both got the punk post-apocalypse thing going on. I really meant gameplay wise. From the video, the game seemingly plays more like Far Cry with a bit of Doom mixed in. Borderlands, being a looter-shooter, would be better compared to The Division, Anthem, and Destiny.

The on-foot gameplay looks very active and movement based - which is great, however, there are two things that have me a little concerned:

1) The vehicles look boring. I would generally expect something that is heavy, and crunchy - with some beefy sound effects to truly represent that you are driving a MONSTER TRUCK. But this looks very light - with very little audio/visual/control feedback.

2) The second they opened the map, I got turned off. The same few icons, scattered around the map. A good sidequest should be a great opportunity to expand the plot, characters, or offer a unique gameplay opportunity, not "Kill X - repeat 10 times".
