I guess the guys who write this crap don't realize that Mario actually hits the blocks with his fist. So not only is this painfully unfunny, it's not even "realistic"

I even specifically looked (in this video) for the fist being raised over the head, as the sprite does in the games, but nope, the arms are out to the side for no reason.

....

Also, when I came to this thread, I was expecting to see a pair of cos-players injuring themselves Jackass style. So... actually, I'm glad it wasn't that. Always glad to not see people injuring themselves. I'm just sad that what it was lacked any kind of knowledge of the games.

That was really trying too hard to be funny. Maybe think more out the box if you're gonna do gaming humor, else you'll just be retelling the same thing everyone else already thought of before you.

Yep. It's pretty unfortunate, but a lot of the old stuff on Newgrounds or AlbinoBlackSheep is considerably funnier than this...better animated as well.

Oh well. It's only one cartoon, but I sure hope they get better.
