I object to this. Please read my blog: http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/audioblog_rebeccamayes_22.htm I didn't make this to turn you on but to make a statement about the natural, emotional, earthy kinda love that Heavy Rain almost but doesn't quite portray.

No one has mentioned the armpit hair yet.
I was expecting some kind of outcry.

Well, that was unexpected. Excellent as always.

I'll be all over the album just as soon as I'm back on my own computer.

EDIT:

I didn't notice - to be honest I don't think I ever would've if you hadn't mentioned it!

That video was very odd, but I enjoyed it.

Song is a new style too, need to listen to it a few more times to decide whether I like it.

To be honest, my first thought was "Bwuh?" But I kinda liked the song. Couldn't really hear her sing over the techno stuff in the background.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of songs down the line she'll say:

"Hey! I'm untalented but all you lonely internet guys like me because I wear tight-fitting clothes!"

The usual from you Rebecca, a wonderfully creative and quirky video with a beautiful, melodic (and the aforementioned techno-vibe to this one) song. Your usual thoughtful (or just lucky in locale?) locations, shots and outfits. Though perhaps a by product and perhaps a fault on mine and many others interpretation, an epically sensual and sexy display also. The cows were obviously fascinated, as were we all I should imagine and the last few seconds looking up into the camera provided a wonderfully intimate image. My thanks for your work.

That was pretty uncalled for, Rebecca is an excellent singer and I've kept up through all her videos and I really don't even like the genre(I'm mostly a metalhead) and if I'm correct this is the only video where she has shown anywhere near this much

EDIT: Like other people I couldn't quite hear the lyrics, but I did get that the video wasn't about her playing in mud or trying to be sexy, I just didn't know what the actual message was since I never played Heavy Rain

I noticed some darkness but i thouht it was shadows. Are they in all the shots? If that's the case the i noticed that just in one.

also it would help if you posted some of the info you post on other sources here or in the group created for you.

That's kinda harsh. I'm no expert but, some songs are better than others but there are at least a few that are very good and show lots of talent (Edit: and creativeness) for example, the Batman, Silent Hill and Resident Evil ones.

Sorry to say I didn't like it at all. I had come to expect a certain style and tone from you that I found refreshing and original, and this just seemed like a experiment in soft porn.

I respect your desire to try something new and different from what we as the viewers have come to expect, but I could hardly hear your singing and your melodious voice and moving words are the best part of your music. So sad to barely hear them. :(

Also, didn't get the mud :/ Nor the bright outdoors, cows, and leotard. Had nothing to do with Heavy Rain from my perspective. Tho is someone does and can point it out to me I would be glad to listen. :)

Look forward to more unusual and gratifying music from you to my gamer soul. XD Keep on doing what you love.

I didn't notice... but now I do... and it sort of adds a bit of creepiness to the video I already found creepy. An interesting experiment and the song and video were both actually really cool, but maybe next week a return to normality?

Also, I will buy the album if I can find it at the store. If not I'll buy it online. From what I've heard it sounds really good.

My fiancée is a trained singer, and she adores Rebecca. So much for your theory, then.
What?

Well my dad is a better trained singer than your fiancée, and he thinks she sucks.

Look guys, just look at how in almost every single one of her 'songs' she gets loads of comments saying

"ATTRACTIV YEH, TOTALLLY WOULD :D:D:D:D:D:D"

In fact the post above me (from dex-dex) pretty much sums up what I want to say, nobody is looking for her pretentious bull-shit, all they see is her unitard.

Why did she have to explain what she was trying to show us? Because her message is shit, and the way she portrays her message isn't particularly clear.

Why do people keep saying they can't hear her, and then say what a great singer she is?

Buh, I dunno, probably being too harsh but y'know, at least she is better than 50 cent or something.
Lets see you do better.

I hope you get banned for being such a dick.

Interesting idea!

Must admit (and this probably says a lot about my take on Britain as a whole) my first last and only thought, once you got to the river, was 'Jaysus, I hope she's current with her innoculations . . .' ;) The cows were a nice touch, I haven't seen countryside like that since I left home.

I love the idea of getting back to reality, to nature, to a deeper sense of who we are. Self discovery is one of the most important things in life.

Loved the cows too, lol

I do hope she hasn't given up on yatzee's song? :(
