The body suit dancing reminds me of Kate Bush, back when she was all about stage performance. Interesting intro, too, with all the sampling. Have you been looking for a chance to do that, or did your idea for this song flow into it?
It didn't turn me on. But it seemed weird, I didn't hear the lyrics well, until I started listening more closely. My guess is that you made such an artistic video because Heavy Rain is anything but just another video game, it's one that dares to play with the human heart. The video didn't seem pornagraphic to me. There was no suggestion of sex at all. If posters think that's soft porn, then God knows how they would view a ballet performance.

To be honest I didn't think you would like the outfit, the armpit hair or the mud. My boobs were squashed into oblivion and I danced like no one was watching. I had mud in my mouth and I smelt like a pond. When I was making the vid a guy turned up in a van with a parcel for me. I was in the garage. When I appeared, with leaves in my hair from the garage floor, he laughed at me for maybe ten minutes. Great! I thought. I look ridiculous.
I had the outfit from a ballet show I did when I was 11years old. Just found it a few days earlier amongst my old stuff. Was pretty excited. I make a point of not buying costumes but just finding what I can find, or making it, so this was gold.

What would you expect from a pretty girl on the internet, who loves to play games and sings about them? Did you really think that everyone would just talk about the quality of her music, her editing skills and the relevance of the lyrics? I'm sorry, but that's just being naïve. Besides, not everyone is watching her to - excuse me for the harsh expression - jerk off to her. A lot of people actually think it's an intriguing concept to see someone sing about video games, be it a male or female artist.
Her underlying message takes some time to ponder about. And yes, I just explained why, in my previous sentence.
The listeners did hear her sing, in the previous songs. Given that she has a professional background as a singer-songwriter, she has some expertise. She may not be the next Beyoncé, and I don't care.
Very good track. I didn't watch the video until after I saw the comments here (don't take that in a bad way, I appreciate the amount of work you put into them but I'm working while I listen) and I don't quite get why some people are saying it was sexy or anything. Maybe for those of us with a horn.

Mud writhing and communing with cows. There's a message here I'm not too proud to say I didn't quite get before reading the comments, but I think I prefer it when the mystery remains. Maybe I'm just unpleasable.

Nah, I'm not even going to go there. Nice video, if the different way of mixing (less voice more instruments) was deliberate then I liked it a lot, if it was accidental, you should do it more. This is in no way a comment on your voice, I just think that having some songs where the voice is treated like another instrument rather than the main feature could add something new.

I'm honestly not sure what to say about the video. I, like some others, actually found it more disturbing than anything resembling erotic.. but perhaps that was the point. As you touch upon in the linked blog, there is an odd juxtaposition between the love as seen in something like Heavy Rain and the more physical emotional concept of love we are all more familiar with.

Have you put any thought into captioning your lyrics at the bottom of the screen? I have a hard time deciphering the words in this video and several of your previous videos. I am not saying music is reliant on deciphering the lyrics, but without them these videos are little more than a melody with screen captures.
