Reminds me of Moloko's first couple of albums. A bit of a departure from her usual thang, to say the least.

The song sounded very strange, but I actually liked it quite a lot. I can't really comment of the video since I had the song as background music, but I will most definitely check watch it some time today.
I might check the album out sometime this week, too.

Good luck with your album.

Cool but .... maybe a touch too far on the surreal side :) Great Sound. Have you been getting enough sleep lately? If the cattle start talking back, run!

Sorry to say I didn't like it at all. I had come to expect a certain style and tone from you that I found refreshing and original, and this just seemed like a experiment in soft porn.

I respect your desire to try something new and different from what we as the viewers have come to expect, but I could hardly hear your singing and your melodious voice and moving words are the best part of your music. So sad to barely hear them. :(

Also, didn't get the mud :/ Nor the bright outdoors, cows, and leotard. Had nothing to do with Heavy Rain from my perspective. Tho is someone does and can point it out to me I would be glad to listen. :)

Look forward to more unusual and gratifying music from you to my gamer soul. XD Keep on doing what you love.
I love the irony of the fact your saying you didn't like it because it broke away from the normal acoustic stuff which by all rights should even make it more original and refreshing.
It is a bit ironic. I didn't personally like the change but philosophically it is an experiment in freedom and style that coincides with what I love about her music.

Doesn't mean I have to like every song she makes to enjoy her art.

I'm glad you agree :)
but I wasn't trying to attack you for your opinion on the song though reading my post I can see where you you got that impression.

I like the video. However I would like the subtitles to come back. I hope you have not got rid of them forever.

No one has mentioned the armpit hair yet.
I was expecting some kind of outcry.
hehe, well, if it makes you feel any better, I did indeed notice the armpit hair; nearly knocked me off my chair :D Not that it bothered me, I was just pretty sure that I have seen hair-free arm pits in other videos.

Also, as I myself am not attracted to women, I was able to see art where other guys might have seen... well, a tight suit. It's too bad I haven't had the chance to play heavy rain, however (no ps3).

This is currently the second most commented song that shes' ever done.

Wonder why that is. (unsarcastic)

Rebecca i have told you in an earlier comment that i love when you get out of your comfort zone and try some more dance friendly stuff.
This is in my opinion an homage to she songs of Sade and the videos of Kate Bush.
When you combine this it gets really really good.

I could go without the mud, it just looked nasty, but the shots with the cows were great.
Usually its a big no no to film animals, they rarely behave as you want.

Well, keep it up, you have a fanbase and i see great things in your future.

I loved the hypnotic and relaxing atmosphere this song and instrumentation created for me. Really wonderful.

And I was pretty oblivious to the 'armpit hair' issue, I think it was far outweighed by your camera person's thumb in the frame during your earthy section. That was unfortunate.

Love having both a song and an interpretive dance.

Well done!

To some early comments: leotards are fairly common in interpretative dance, which is exactly what she did.

I think it's a good attempt at a different kind of style, but could be heavily misinterpreted in comparison to other songs that you've done, Rebecca. Many seemed to have done so. The mud was a touch that was ironically taking the song to two different extremes depending on initial point of view.

as for the cows thing.
if you ever get a chance, run out into a field of cows, get their attention, then lay down on your back staring up at the sky. in about a minute or two they will wander over and stare at you with cow curiosity. coolest thing ever
