Hmm... in this kind of case you might want to dangle the threat of legal action over your sister. The amount of money the stolen property is worth is enough to classify it as a felony. Even if your sister didn't steal it all, she can most likely be charged as an accomplice and could receive jail-time (or juvenile hall if a minor). Trust me, the threat of legal action dangling over one's head usually makes them comply with the injured party's requests.

I still consider System Shock 2 to be the best game that's ever been made. It came out in about 1999 so I'm sure you have the hardware for it, but it doesn't always get along with newer OS's, but there are guides for getting it to work on the internet (none of the steps are too difficult). FPS with some survival horror elements. I recommend avoiding the psi tree like the plague. If you've played Bioshock you'll notice a lot of similarities like specialized munitions.

You could go on Steam and buy Psychonauts. I did, and I couldn't be happier with it. The only thing that needed tweaking was the mouse sensitivity.

Get a PS1 emulator and then get Final Fantasy 7 - 9.

But don't really, it's illegal.

Get PCSX thats the best emulator, but don't really, that wouldn't be nice.

TRUST ME I'm working on that... I work at a video store where there is lots of theft and since my mom wasn't taking this too seriously I got our Loss Prevention Officer involved and he specializes in cases of theft... we've filed a report and made a list of approximately all of what's gone... my sister doesn't know this yet though

It's not all that graphically intensive, but if you really want the game, you can always get it for 15 bucks or so off Xbox Live...
Great game, though.
Hurm, this is rather problematic. I don't know exactly what you would be able to run, and most of my suggestions would probably be too much, especially if Psychonauts was too much...

even if she's literally forced to work to replace the stuff, it still sucks that it won't be as soon as I'd like... I mean how unlucky is it for all of my stuff to get stolen the DAY BEFORE my spring break... I WAS GOING TO PLAY COD4 FOR 5 DAYS STRAIGHT!!! LMAO well I'm getting over it thanks to the wonderful suggestions I've been getting... I'm downloading System Shock 2 right now, and I found roms for Shining Force 2, Chrono Trigger, and PS Final Fantasies. I don't care if the emulation is illegal, it's only temporary until I get my stuff back for one, the games don't sell nowadays so I'm not stealing profit from their corresponding companies for two, and I've put thousands of dollars into the pockets of some of those companies in my long history of gaming for three.

well downloading it off Xbox Live might prove problematic seeing as how i got the 360 stolen, but I do have a modded Xbox original lying around (uh, uh not saying I'll download it... hehe, I could go buy it at BestBuy or something, yah... that's it.. hehe)

Old and fun RPGs:

Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger

For PS1: Final Fantasy 7, 8 ,9 (obviously), Final Fantasy Tactics

N64: GoldenEye (you need the proper N64 controller to play it well)

Also try for PC (RPG) Diablo 1 +2, Baldur Gate 1+2, Dungeon Siege, Morrowind, Gothic 2.

Shooter: No one lives Forever, Max Payne, Doom, Half Life 1
I concur with most of this list. Max Payne, Half Life, and Diablo 2 especially; personally I never got into the whole Final Fantasy franchise.

I'd also like to add Deus Ex and System Shock 2 (FPSs with role-play elements), Unreal Tournament (an intense deathmatch-style FPS), Battlefield 1942 (a team-based tactical FPS), and Neverwinter Nights if your computer can run it (a D&D based RPG).

Mod PSP, get the Emulators for PSP, get your most Nostalgic games together all on your PSP.
Fun Forever.

Also, Cave Story is amazing, it is the best freeware i have ever come across, and most likely the best to exist.
It was made for PSP too, so mod it up and play some Cave Story.

DAMN i forgot about Neverwinter Nights, I have played it though... used to be a lot of fun, especially with the scripting tools and such... I could see about running it... I'm sure it'll be fine on low settings, I'm running system shock 2 just swell as long as I keep it windowed (ONBOARD GRAPHICS ARE SHIT D':)
