I'd suggest;
anything by Cage The Elephant
I fought the Law by Clash
Maybe I'm Crazy by Monarchy
And anything from the Bloodhound Gang.

And after Actually reading the OP, I now know CD only. So just Bloodhound Gang and Cage the Elephant.

B-b-b-beastie boys! They're one of the illest MC groups there are, coming from Brooklyn, NYC! These guys are not your typical hip-hop artists, trust [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qORYO0atB6g] me. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Naf5uJYGoiU] Doesn't matter if you're not into rap music, these guys converted me. However, if you're still not interested, I fourth the Gorillaz recommendation. No two Gorillaz songs sound the same and part of this is because they do so many collaborations ranging from De La Soul to Lou Reed.

Lostprophets - "Start Something" and "Weapons"
Blue Stahli - "Blue Stahli"
Sinch - "Hive Mind" and "Clearing the Channel"

Janelle Monae's Archandroid has some good stuff on it
I'll second this, Janelle Monae is fantastic. I wish all modern RnB sounded more like she does :-/

Led Zeppelin

More specifically their albums "Led Zeppelin 1-4" I guarantee you'll find something good.

And if you don't listen to that kind of music then fuck you, you should listen to it anyways.

captcha: nice job. See even captcha supports me in recommending Led Zeppelin
My favorite was always In Through the Out Door... Kind of weird for a Led Zeppelin album but still...<.<

I would like to introduce everyone to the band Foxy Shazam

youtube search for their songs "Wanna-be Angel" and "Bye-Bye Symphony".
Their lyrics are funny as hell and their vocalist have a distinctive voice (something rare in music today, Im looking at you, male country singers)

Like the chorous of Bye-bye Symphony is "Life is a *****, but she's totally do-able"

go now my pretties and have fun

Plea for help snip.
I'll throw a few things in to the fray.

Every album this man has produced is a winner. He showed me how great rap can really be.

A song about the Battle of Trenton, sung by a man dressed in a rubbish vampire costume?

Perhaps not good driving material but I'm obsessed with these guys at the moment. I also just found out they're from the town I live in...

Just a great band.

I could provide more but my laptop is going mental right now... = /

Hope you find something good to listen to!
