Not if your a child killer. Besides, most perk images in that game were designed to be funny and to not be taken seriously.

What I can't believe is that the designer requested a perk like this. It's still a hilarious image.

You know, he could've made it like a cross-over between the "Lady Killer" and "Child at Heart". Like, talking to a kid and holding a knife behind his back. Or just sneaking behind a kid and preparing for a backstab, but hey... this is a bit confus...ier than other images.

That actually looks rather tame, considering what you need to do to get that perk. What is the actually image for that reputation perk anyways?

That's pretty much true to the Fallout sense of humor.

I think a workable picture would just be the Vault Boy in a scary clown outfit, waving a knife. Gets the message across without depicting violence (or even impending violence) against children, those most sacrosanct of beings.

This is pathetic. The guy who draws these things for a game that's already so ridiculously gory and intentionally offensive "can't believe [he] drew this".
What he said. This is from a game where one of the children you can kill to get this reputation is a chemist for the mob who invented an instantly addictive hallucination after testing it on (and killing) at least a hundred slave labourers.

I think it's hilarious. And totally suits Fallout. I laughed when I first saw it, and I laughed again when I saw it here. I suppose out of context you might be offended, but you can also take a close up shot of the flesh of a tomato and half the people you showed that too would think you were showing them something disgusting. Fallout is a beautiful satire. I love it. This image fits that perfectly.

nope, it's supposed to be a darkly funny image. The entire fallout series is ment to have an air of dark humor, but most of it was lost in fallout 3, so I'm not suprised a lot of people are feigning shock over this.

People are way too sensitive these days, or hypocriticly sensitive at any rate. I remember when fallout 3 was first released, and some folks were saying on the official forums that the developers didn't have any balls because you could kill everyone that wasn't involved in the plot except the kids, and a lot of people responded, calling them "violent monsters who probably wanted to kill kids in real life"... the SAME people who were playing a video game where you can nuke a bunch of innocent people (including the children living there), commit genocide, and beat desperate beggers and innocent people to death with a wrench or pipe as they scream. The SAME people who also probably beat hookers and ran over old ladies in the GTA games too.

So the question is, what image DID they use instead?

I'm not about to kill a kid to find out.

i don't blame the guy for feeling guilty about drawing this.

I DO. Guilt is for the weak.
Actually, guilt is the correct response for stable humans... so you admit that you're an unstable, emotionally stunted sub-human?

I'll be right there in hell with you, since I damn near fell off my chair when I saw that image! Even Fallout 2 had limits? Who knew?

(edit: I shared this on Facebook, and to throw a bone to your advertisers I posted it with "No Thumbnail" because having the image in the thumbnail gives away the joke prematurely. Then again, if you give it away prematurely you might not need to kick anyone in the tummy.)

Damn it!

I was so going to do that... but now it would be unoriginal and would look like I had copied you.

*sigh*
