I have Duck Feet (my standard stance is an angle), and I want straight feet. Can anyone give me methods to straighten my feet as efficiently as possible?
Point, but I wasn't expecting a quick fix, I was asking for an efficient one.DefunctTheory said:I don't think this is the first weird, potentially dangerous health related thing you've asked this forum, if my memory serves. Dude, you need to find a better place for this.
But while you're here, there is no quick fix, if there even is one. It's your bones and joints, man. Come on.
Well, I figured someone would know about an efficient workout to ease my legs into straightening up.renegade7 said:You probably shouldn't be getting medical advice from random strangers on the internet. Ask a doctor about this.
Oh, well if you want time efficient, resetting them could work.DarklordKyo said:Point, but I wasn't expecting a quick fix, I was asking for an efficient one.
Hmm...tempting, but know the next best thing that doesn't involve excruciating pain and a pair of casts?DefunctTheory said:Oh, well if you want time efficient, resetting them could work.
Of course, first you have to...

Your legs shouldn't need any special exercises to "straighten up". The fact that they're not doing that on their own points to a medical issue that requires a medical solution.DarklordKyo said:Well, I figured someone would know about an efficient workout to ease my legs into straightening up.renegade7 said:You probably shouldn't be getting medical advice from random strangers on the internet. Efficiently? Go see a GP, a licensed physical therapist, or an orthopedic doctor. Personally, I'd recommend doing options 1 and 2 at the same time followed by option 3 depending on recommendations from the other ones. Consulting medical professionals is the most efficient, safest, and easiest way of correcting any problems that you might have.DarklordKyo said:I have Duck Feet (my standard stance is an angle), and I want straight feet. I don't think positional therapy works too well with the adult spine/hip. I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical advice, but I believe the solution to this problem is basically oodles of physical therapy, or oodles of muscle relaxers. Or both.draigan said:It was a pain in the ass and to this day I cant sleep on my back anymore but it greatly improved my feet.
I would not suggest doing this though without consulting a doctor as I was young and still growing so my body could adjust if you are an adult I would imagine it would do more harm than good
Several stance/walking irregularities can cause chronic back pain. If so, it's not something one should ignore. Also a good reason to go to the doctor if possible.bjj hero said:Just go with it. Does it really matter how you stand?
Duck Feet's been compared to driving with a flat tire. Straight feet gives proper posture apparently.bjj hero said:Just go with it. Does it really matter how you stand?
From what I read, it might be because of an alignment issue in the hip area.Pallindromemordnillap said:Whats the root of the problem? Whats actually putting you at the angle? You got collapsing arches? A problem with joints in ankles or knees? Issues with your hips or back?
Lol, agreed, but it looks like you have something more akin to Chicken Feet in my opinion (completely different).Drathnoxis said:I have this problem too.
