Well, I like it when they're slice up into chunks and placed into a casserole. nothing like leeting the gravy juices soak into the meat... add a few dumplings, some sliced carrots, so peas, other assorted veggies, etc.
then leave for 12 hours on a low simmer.

It's contextual. Orphans are a typical figure for the stimulation of pity because the archetypal 'happy childhood' includes two parents and a stable home environment. To have lost both and to be alone, per se, is something we sympathise with. A bit like the grieving lover. In news it can increase the sorrow of an article, turning it into something horrible because these people have already lost so much. And so on.

All media presents a context and a bias because to simply write the facts of "x-people/person did a to z" would never a) sell or b) make use of a language we have. They're not people fighting people, they're terrorists and Peacekeepers, or freedom fighters and invaders. The orphans get caught in the middle.

How about instead of using Milla Jovovich they go with the story and characters from the games? It's wacky enough to be interesting. People stuck inside a mansion and trying to find a way out. Giant spider. Giant snake. That would probably be a good movie.
I suspect that when it's done, Degeneration will still be the best RE movie.
