Remedy Focusing on Xbox 360 Version of Alan Wake

This is just unfair. In general, lots of games suffer from the "console-fication". Mouse control turns to dung because of the permanent smooth effect. Other controls have to be simplifyed for the console-tards. (No offense anyone, but it's just a numerical fact that a keyboard has more buttons than an xbox 360 controller)
Also, this seems like an act of detestful arrogance. Originally a PC designated game is now to be first released for Xbox360. It's like Remedy is now saying "Oh yeah, we were totally going to make a good PC game, but now that we can make a helluva lot more money by releasing it for the console first. You PC gamers are gonna buy the simplified and delayed version anyway, because Max Payne was such a hit."
Too bad I AM going to buy it anyway.

I don't mind waiting. I'm annoyed on principle that the PC as a platform is once again being pushed aside but speaking strictly of Alan Wake, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Despite my love for Max Payne I just don't see it as a "must buy" title, which means that unless there's a solid demo and/or overwhelmingly positive reviews, I had no intention of buying it right away anyway. If the PC version comes later, there's a good chance we'll get bonus stuff, the bugs and balance issues will be patched out and it might even be cheaper than the 360 launch price. And since Microsoft, to its detriment, obviously won't be looking to make any real money on it anyway, the price will probably drop quickly, meaning that if I wait another six months after the PC version finally arrives, I'll probably be able to pick it up for around 20 bucks.

For the long-term good of the PC platform, it's a bad thing. But if major publishers are going to behave like this, I'm certainly not above taking advantage of it.

I didn't buy the amazing melting console for Fable2 and I'm not going to do it for this either.
If it comes out on PC, I'll get it then.
I thought the 360 was just ruining console gaming, now it's going to ruin the PC too. I thought they were brothers.

It pretty much a cool overhyped sandbox game that got turned into a (what looks like) a run of the mill action game.
This.

They've changed the premise a bit too much =\.
Yeah, used to be pretty excited about it. But from the E3 footage, it looks like the new and crappy Alone in the Dark.

This game is going to rock, despite what all of the people who didn't even look at the E3 trailer and are calling it a "run of the mill action game" are saying. I bet you people are the same people who whine over the new art style in Borderlands..

Luckily I'm getting it for Xbox 360, so no delay for me!
This ^
It really does look like a return to form for the Survival Horror genre with a focus on story rather than action mugubins (<- That's a google whack).

Again I'll be buying it for 360 so no delay (Hopefully)
