Is it really so hard to believe that Trump, who lost the popular vote TWICE, and never polled above 50%, lost the election fair and square?
People will lie to themselves about anything to make themselves feel better, nor feel like they made the wrong choice. Also, you just have people that are just straight up assholes and only care about themselves or only want people in power from the pettiest reasons. The only reason Trump won the first time around, was because a lot of young people and some older people didn't vote. They were drinking the South Park Kool-Aid of "your vote doesn't matter". The douche versus turd argument I still hate that episode. It sent a bad message to people out there everywhere, and that's possibly what inspired some people to not vote during Trump versus Hillary. Voting does matter, but you can't always just go for the big stuff. You have to go vote for the smaller stuff and medium stuff leading up to the big stuff. Those are just as important, or even more so in a lot of cases.
Should we do a show of hands for who feels contempt for the electoral college here? You have no problem with contempt for the country's political foundation, you are just enjoying an excuse to attack Republicans. Democrats have both condemned the form of our elections and accused Republicans of cheating for every Republucan victory in recent memory, and to their credit, the nation isnt falling apart because of it. What's annoying is having two parties but only one gets to complain or else apparently democracy is ending. Why are you more concerned with pedantry and policing the exact language used when describing that Republicans are openly stating their contempt for our country's political foundations rather than, you know, Republicans openly stating their contempt for our country's political foundations?
See, here's the thing: His adherents believe themselves to be "the good guys", who are supposed to win because that's what happens in the movies. Donald Trump was supposed to cruise to re-election with the support of "real Americans" like them, whereas he would have remit to reshape America into their ideal: A place where once more they were lionized and elevated above all others, as is their birthright.
Kinda sounding like it wasn't a lie, dude.
Trump and Biden's contrasting positions on Russian interference in American elections are clear. Whether voters care about these differences, however, is not as obvious.www.nbcnews.com
But even if it was, it wouldn't matter at that point, he already won despite Hillary getting more votes and nothing was changing that. Unlike what he's doing now with his dipshit followers who seek to actively undermine democracy. The only way to change that would be impeachment and removal and republicans wouldn't have done that under any circumstances.
It's not extreme though, if you wanna say the GOP is worse than the DNC, then fine. However, if the GOP is driving us off the cliff at 100mph, then the DNC is driving us off the cliff at 90mph. What does it matter then? Don't vote either of them into office. It kinda does though. Harm mitigation is a pretty noble act, especially if the harm the Republicans plan to inflict tend to be extreme.
Fixed that for ya.I just want to remind everyone to VOTE! Get all the Republicans [and Democrats] out of office.
It's not about far and square. MAGA world only cares about winning, no matter the cost. Buying into the Big Lie is simply them engaging in identity politics to show they're part of the in-group.
And turned up nothing? Never, they always turn up a bunch of stuff, but hes amazingly good at wriggling out of personal responsibility. Pretty much every single investigation has yielded arrests and convictions.
Factual news? Is it that the laptop existed or are we talking about the 4chaner who keeps saying they've got the real laptop and are going to show the truth about Joe... for about three years now without actually showing anything
Because the Hispanic/Latino vote isn't a monolithic bloc. It's as varied and polarized as any other demo in the US, including black voters, along its key cleavages: socioeconomic class, education, first- or later-generation immigrant status, religion, and region. It's not about how the demo trends overall, it's about how that demo turns out.Why does it feel like Democrats are losing the Hispanic vote?
I viewed Trump as a con man long before he ran for office and would never vote for him because of that. That doesn't mean some of the stuff they try to get Trump on is some stupid ass shit either or the fact he's occasionally right on some things (even if just a broken clock). And turned up nothing? Never, they always turn up a bunch of stuff, but hes amazingly good at wriggling out of personal responsibility. Pretty much every single investigation has yielded arrests and convictions.
Literally everyone says the story is not fake news anymore. Even CNN says so.Factual news? Is it that the laptop existed or are we talking about the 4chaner who keeps saying they've got the real laptop and are going to show the truth about Joe... for about three years now without actually showing anything
They already don't count...And in a few years time, if the republicans have their way, the votes of the people who do live in America won't count either.
Maybe they should ease off the LatinX bullshit. Why does it feel like Democrats are losing the Hispanic vote?
