I close my eyes and imagine it is you, Russ, calling me a sexy beast ;)
I might wait for the inevitable GOTY which will have DLC and the full game, rather than buying them one by one and kicking myself later!

I agree, Dead Money was well worth my 800MSP.

Also all the spoilerific foreshadowing really got me excited for the next batch of DLC.

Oh Bethesda/Obsidian... you tease me so.

Okay, PC gamer here... waiting for Bethesda and Obsidian to stop punishing their faithful fans who've been around since Fallout 1 and 2.

(That is, I'm waiting for Dead Money to get a PC release.)

Huh, this one snuck up on me entirely.

No, Microsoft, I'm not gonna buy an Xbox. Hurry up and release it on the PC *kick kick*

you mean faithful fan's who've been around since redguard..

technically only obsidian was involved with the first 2 fallouts and even so it was interplay who were the publishers.. hmm then again black aisle were part of interplay.. so yeah...

I really liked it - it did have that creepy feeling and it was actually way more challenging than most DLCs I've paid for. My only complaint with it is that the first area, the Villa, is like a damned giant, very repetitive maze. Almost all the areas until you get into the actual casino look exactly the same and it's very, very easy to get lost.

Are you serious?

Dead Money is pretty much an exercise in bad game design.

Enemies that a nigh-invincible to anything less to a maxed-out melee character, stealth is impossible (I know, I've tried), constantly draining health courtesy of the "this DLC was still too easy before, so lets a BS health removal mechanic to add artificial difficulty" desk, and a useless end-of-game reward that can't be carried by most player characters, and even those who can won't get much use out of it.

Some nice characters can't make up for that.

This might make me give the game another try if they release it on PC. Why does the 360 always get special treatment?

Eh, have 360 version so I'll probably get it, if only for the level cap raise, but I just really hate it when games (in particular fallout) do this kind of thing. take away all my stuff and companions and give me a whole bunch of "new" stuff that I probably won't be able to carry out of new area? Yes, that is so...fun. I want to bring my heavily modded sniper rifle with me and go "boom headshot", dammit!

You do know you can dismember bodies once they're knocked out, right?

Were you doing a light Christopher Walken impression throughout that vid? o_O

Otherwise, certainly looks interesting, and, hopefully it won't be as annoyingly hard as Point Lookout...damn mutant hillbillies.

The best part of new vegas is the freedom, going where I want with my own guns, characters and companions. Levelling up and tailoring my character to be just like me, my guns changing just as I please adding even more freedom and customization so that I can overcome any and all obstacles the open world throws at me. Corridor crawling with the same guns, companions and stats doesn't sound too enjoyable.

Ya but bad game design sells well these days

I'll give the same answer as a fellow escapist some posts ago:

NO I won't buy a fucking X-box 360! It's stupid and it smells like rotten fish. Give me my DLC on the PC already!
