No mention of any music in the review... can I assume the Go Team trailer that got everyone interested in the game was just a one-off? It fit the action so perfectly that I assumed each stage would have a strong musical element. I hope it's not just regular inoffensive BGM.
No, no, definitely not the usual old BGM. The music in LBP is perfect, charming, and will stick in your head like it was superglued to the inside of your cranium. But you won't mind a bit.

LBP gets everything just right. Even the tutorials are wonderful.

Good review! This will probably end up being the second game I pick up for my PS3, joining the currently lonely Disgaea 3. Probably not for a while though - I have too much else going on at the moment.

I'm sorry, but it seems I am missing the point of the game. Or something. Or maybe my copy was screwed up. I can't find it to hold my attention. I would like to admit that I am not the kind of person who sits around making levels all day, but the appeal doesn't last. What may be cool for 15 minutes quickly overstays its welcome in an hour. If anyone can guide me through the thought process of this game other than (sorry man) riding giant penisauruses to Sackboy's impending doom, please try it.

Ok, first up - did you play the single player game at all, or did you just try user made levels?

Yeah it is a great game and I recommend it to any one with a PS3, one of the must haves.

I'd just like to point out that there are bosses. It's just not in the average, "This is how many hits in this area to kill the boss" sort of format. I'm disappointed that Susan Arendt missed this.

But something else even better about the game she missed was that Stephen Fry does the voice acting which is only icing to the cake, but none the less.

Susan was kind enough to let me poke at this game for a bit yesterday and after just twenty minutes I now want to acquire both the game and the console. This is actually saying quite a lot since I don't play videogames... ever.

Also, I /desperately/ want a Sack Boy plushie. Sony is definitely missing a market there. I mean, good lord can you get any cuter than this?

I think not.

Excellent, thanks for the info.
And you would be doing yourself a great disservice if you didn't pick up both Go! Team "Thunder, Lightning, Strike" and Battles "Mirrored" albums.

Should have shown the multiplayer mayhem in that video supplement. LBP is like, the best reason to have friends.

Thanks for the great review, Susan. I believe I will now go by it and then let my 5 year old show me how to play it.

Sack boy plushies??? Oh no you don't, I still haven't gotten over missing out on the companion cube plushies.

I've made my own level, and I do believe it rocks! XD

IF anyone wants to add me, my PSN is "TonberryFeye".
