I am so fucking pissed that Netflix and company just spoiled the living shit out of that to everyone, all for publicity and brownie points. It's a great surprise and actually fits in with the central theme of the special, of which the subtitle of Static Cling makes complete sense after you've seen it. No lie, the entire special is meta as hell regarding the clamoring of fans to revive old shows, and calls upon a lot of stuff with the history of the show itself. You could easily see it for what it presents as a non-fan if you're ever getting an itch, but it's really meant for fans that are probably the same fans that wanted the reboot in the first place. I can just imagine how lost some people would be(or just the humor not clicking with them at some bits), if they don't know about old bits of the show, or aren't generally into animation as a particular interest.erttheking said:

I believe the info was out there possibly a week before(if all those edits to the Rocko Wiki are any indication), but it seemed like yesterday and the day before that, everyone and their mother was reporting on it.
