Remember that episode of Zero Punctuation where Yahtzee says that he likes to play HL2 as a massive dick, just for the lols? I was curious if other people also liked to do similar stuff, roleplaying in a game which was, by design, very straightfoward on how to be played.
I personally like to "play the hero" in every game, no matter what. It gets pretty silly on games like Saints Row or GTA where in gameplay I try to be as good as possible (never kill civilians or policemen, always try to kill the enemies with soft melee weapons, so they won't "die", etc. etc). The most fun I had with this is when making a no-kills run on Assassin's Creed II, because in cutscenes, Ezio would be saying "Requiescat in pace" to a living dude witht the shit beaten out of him.
