Personally, I thought the Dante's Inferno game was cool. It did no justice for the poem, but on its own merits, it was a good action game. He cut Death in half with his own scythe; that is awesome with a capital "scyth through the face." It was a soild rent.
But was anybody really begging for this sequel? While didn't go so great in the game, jumping into Hell to fight Lucifer and his minions was a cool concept; scaling the mountain of neutrality doesn't quite sound as action-y as jumping into the pit of evil.
