I have one near my house and it sucks, the employees lied to people, were rude, and and closed whenever they felt like. When Gamestop opened up a store in town and I haven't gone back to game crazy since, actuary I don't think anyone has, I'm happy to see them gone.

I only got one game there.
Halo 2 collector's edition.
What did I get?
A plain black box with two disks.
It was... infuriating.
What I'm getting at: suck that people are going to lose their jobs, but I will not mourn that store chain.

Geeze, I think there are only a few GameCrazy's left around here, and a few of them have the misfortune of being right near GameStops.
I've hardly ever used GameCrazy, I kinda forget it exists, honestly. The few times I"ve been in one they didn't have anything good in the used section, and like, jack all had covers, a big for me.
Seeing as there are pretty much zero Holywood videos around here (I think the last one closed a few years ago, it's an urgent care center now) they're pretty much gonna be gone.

The closest Gamecrazy here is in Orlando. I live in Palm Bay. So it's no real loss here. It's too bad, still.

I assume they're an American brand?

I've never heard of them. But hearing companies go into liquidation always makes me a sad panda.

Oh no he didn't.

When that guy just said "let's get ready to rumble" he made a multi-million-dollar mistake. If Mike Buffer finds this video before GameCrazy goes out of business I promise you there will be a lawsuit, he sues anyone that violates his trademark on that phrase.

MY bet is on Gamestop's Evil Robot Army. They downgraded PC games from a wall to one of the floorracks. ONE.

Who buys PC games in stores anymore, though? Sounds like a good business move on their part, honestly.. the only PC titles I see moving off shelves are Really Big Games, like.. um.. well, WoW has an expansion coming out. You uhh.. you know of anything lots of people are excited about for PC gaming? Anywhere in the pipeline? Cause.. I got nothin here.

It's just much easier and faster to port console games to PC than the opposite. Any PC game that isn't a port, and isn't WoW, probably not going to sell many copies -- at least, not in a brick store.

Way to beat me to the punch. Yeeeah, I'd say that as evil as Gamestop is, they probably deserve to kill Gamecrazy...

I'm actually going to miss the Movie Gallery going out of business nearby more since my only other option is Blockbuster for rentals (Netflix doesn't work out well for me due to problems with payments). It also means that the Wal-Mart that the entire city seems to revolve around just got a little bit stronger.

For a company that sells games, this training video sure does give the impression that the actual company is way, way off base with the actual gamers they sell to.

In any case, Zelda was almost as bad Bay's Skids and Mudflaps....
