Jesus Christ when will this end? Duke Nukem is a lame character. The only reason he's even rembered today is because Duke Nukem Forever is one of the longest and best know running gags in video game history.

Well, Gearbox certainly did right by Half-Life with OpFor and Blue Shift, at least thematically. Hopefully, they can be trusted to maintain the high standards of Duke Nukem.

But given that this project seems to have the Plague of Ultimate Ennui included with the design docs someplace, I remain... unconvinced that it will ever see the light of day.

EDIT: I just realized that the dudes at Penny-Arcade have been making fun of DNF for over a decade now. It really is quite amazing when you think about it.

actually the hope of duke nukem getting actually released is deader then shit only blizzard can do this because they get over 250 millions of dollars per month and gearbox is just another company like activision,ea,bungie the last company that was making duke nukem forever ran out of money and sold it to another company there's a chance that gearbox will be destroyed because they will be making the game also for about 10 years and run out of money completely
