Rumor: Sony Has Bought Crash Bandicoot From Activision

Let's hope becoming part of Guerrilla doesn't mean they'll only do KZ games, though. I really want a new MediEvil, and that goes double for a MediEvil made by the original creators.

My mistake. Although I'm actually surprised they've not done a remake of MediEvil 2 to the style of how MediEvil Resurrection was. I can actually see that being the case though, and I can also see them making that a Vita exclusive...

Sir Dan's appearance in PS All-Stars gave me hope something MediEvil related would happen, but it's been a while, so I'm not holding my breath. Maybe with Killzone Mercenary out they can start working on something, though.

BTW, is Resurrection worth it if I have the PSOne classic, or it is pretty kuch the same thing?

The first Crash game was my first foray into 3D gaming, while everyone else was playing Mario 64, I was playing Crash Bandicoot.

Please Sony, please give it back to Naughty Dog, PLEASE!

I'm sorry everyone, but it appears that Activision Still owns the rights to Crash Bandicoot, they just simply took down the site [http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=172832&page=1#]. It sucks I know; Even though I was a Nintendo 64 kid, I know a lot of people who like Crash Bandicoot and they're just waiting for a real CB game to be made. I'm sorry I have to break the news to you all 3:

I didn't have much of a childhood so Crash Bandicoot is something I have never played. Make an HD collection and I'll be sure to check it out.

They did change Sir Dan's story a bit when it came to Resurrection and I think it's a great game, I have both the PS1 and PSP versions. I LPed the PS1 version about a year ago and I'm gonna do MediEvil Resurrection soon enough. They are fun and it's interesting to see the differences and the updated visuals.

If that where true, why would Adam Boyes, who's a Sony Publisher and Developer relations with 3rd Parties, not know that Activision is giving Sony the right to CB?

I broke out my old PS1 the other week and had a crack at some of the old games including the Crash titles and sure they had the same rage inducing flaws that many early 3D platformers had - there were a couple of occasions where the controller almost took an unscheduled flight accross my living room - but the games were fun.

It might come to nothing, but a Crash release would certainly make me reconsider my position of not purcahsing the PS4 at launch.

For the love of all things decent, may this rumor be true. Activision has been misusing the franchise for years, so it would be just for Sony to buy it back and actually make good games with him again.

Or he could know and play dumb because they want to make an official announcement. It wouldn't be the first time a secret was leaked, denied for a few months and then grandly revealed. Remember Final Fantasy XV?

Yes. YES. Want! Crash is seriously my favorite series ever, and if Sony is going to start making more, they've just sold me a PS4.

I'm not capable of losing Crash Team Racing, and the Crash platformers have the right combination of humor, good v evil and challenge to get me all wet.

Honestly, I don't think Capcom cares about the Blue Bomber anymore. They didn't even do anything for his 25th anniversary. Other than release a big expensive book. If that was a marriage, I think he would have filed for divorce.

Seriously, not even a release of all Megaman games on a single disc?
