they mentioned this a while ago, if i'm not wrong from the picture it looks like they decided to use the ReadD 3D system and they said it could be given to older PS3's via a firmware update
Am I the only person who doesn't give a tinker's damn about 3D technology in movies or games? It just doesn't impress me. Certainly not enough to buy a new television when I JUST upgraded to HD this year.

but yeh, they have been talking about 3D TVs for a while now, i heard they had em ll ready they just didnt want to release them yet as they were still selling other TVS well...dunno where i heard it tho...

hmmmmm, I do remember reading somewhere that (technically speaking) PS3's are infact 3D compatable... besides, it would be a bit stupid to announce the PS4 now, considering they've only just released the Slim.
When I heard of "My Bloody Valentine 3D", I thought, "Didn't 3D die a long time ago?". I guess not.

3d screens are nothing new, if ur willing to play through the nose for it you can enjoy a 3D screen and play any game on the PC with it asuming u got all the other hardware, good graphic cards etc.

Basicly instead of 1 image being produced 2 are both shown in a different polarised light plane, you then wear glasses that block out the other image so both eyes show different images.

Calling something 3D is very ambiguous. Duke Nukem 3D, for example.
Does this mean it looks like it's coming out of the screen? Frankly, I find those effects poor in films and the like but if I get some of those funky two-tone glasses then I can get behind it.

I reckon it's a rumour as much as a feeler statement to see if consumers are wanting another VIrtual Boy.
I hope SONY doesn't make a PS4 imminently, wouldn't that mean all the longevity statements were balderdash and i'm kinda still waiting for PS3 to hit it's stride.
