Running Black Mesa(half-life)

I'm having problems "installing", if thats the right word, Black mesa, the half-life remake. I

have the source SDK base 2007, which was the only thing said requried, but when i tried to

download the blackmesa.zip.001 and blackmesa.zip.002, i wasnt sure what to do next. I was

told i had to upzip the file, but when right clicking the file i was not given the option (i do

have a application to unzip files) . I put the files in the steamapps folder, so im not sure what

else to do. Any help would be appriciated.

Unzip the files into Steam/steamapps/sourcemods. If you don't have a sourcemods folder, make one. If steam is open, restart it. Then, Black Mesa should show up.

When I downloaded Black Mesa, I used the torrent link and got it on a single file. I think that the files that you downloaded were split using HJSplit [http://www.hjsplit.org/windows/]. Download it and merge the files, and then unzip the new merged file.
