Quentin Tarrentino or Kevin Smith. It'll be interesting.

A Tarantino Spiderman would suck balls. Kevin Smith, by his own admission, doesn't have the visual chops to do a superhero movie. My vote would be for Zack Snyder. That guy is a visual joygasm waiting to happen.

Lol, 40 mins of spiderman inanely chatting with mary jane about some odd anecdotes and pop culture references until him and twelve supervillains walk into the same cafe, and shoot each other in a high octane and visceral bloodbath.


And i LIKE tarantino films. I reckon they should just let spiderman die, to be honest, he's not the BEST superhero comicbook -> film story adaption. It's too sugar coated.

Spiderman 1 was okay, Spiderman 2 was pretty good (and one of the better movie tie-in games out there to boot) and Spiderman 3 was terrible.

I suppose a different director could bring new things to the series...I guess?

Really? I saw it as SP1 was good, SP2 was average and SP3 was under average.

It's not Spider-Man 4 any more, it's a full reboot. I hope they get a good actor for Peter Parker this time.

In terms of a director, I can't really help you. Christopher Nolan? Ed Bye? I don't know many.
