EDIT: Does anyone think itd be able to handle Diablo 2/Fallout 2/Baldur's Gate 2? =P ( I just want to make sure, I doubt itd have a problem )
EDIT 2: Would there be a point in having windows vista/windows 7 on it? Im more comfortable with them but would it take a hit from it?
EDIT 3: Do you think itd be able to take Battlefield 2? I found this list of games it can take, but no battlefield 2 so.. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=329518

These 'netbooks' are pretty much a dime-a-dozen at thois point.

Seriously, look for 'Netbook', and Guarantee you'll find models by: Asus, Dell, Samsung, Acer, Lenovo, MSI, HP, and just about every other major computer manufacturer.

All with exactly, EXACTLY the same specs.

I probably will, but this one is quite cheap, and it has unlimited mobile internet. And I can get it on a decent payment plan.

I've got one and it works great for the internet and MS office stuff, I've never tried to do any photo/video editing on it but I think most of the modern applications will be too much for it.

Oh, I'm not saying it isn't good, but it's rather hard to compare it to the competition.

If you're going to use it for video editing, I'd suggest you hold off for six months (if you can), because that GMA 950 is teh suck at anything more than SD video or flash video playback.

Wait six months, and most of these netbooks are going to start shipping with nVidia's Ion chipset, which CAN handle full-HD video.

have your parents by you a 1500 euro gaming laptop...
(sorry to act so smug about it)

OT: but a net-book, they can be quite handy, and 8 hours of battery life is very good, I can squeeze 5-6 out of my laptop, on minimum performance, with an extended battery.

I would get a gaming laptop.. But the most money I can get together is about 12000 kr, a good gaming laptop is about 20000 new and 15000 used. And for me to get that money together id have to sacrifice my 360, ps3 and PC.

I think the word that comes to mind is "fail", especially considering that I'm a desktop gamer and only have a laptop for pure work and web-browsing purposes. I'd rather have a ?800 desktop and a ?250 netbook than a gaming laptop.
Agree. But id rather have a console then a gaming PC anyway.

I have it. I love it. I looked around a lot before buying a netbook and this one just seemed to be the best (for me at least).

I have played Diablo 2 on it, so at least it can handle that.
I would not install Vista/Windows 7. I think performance would drop too much for it to be worth it.

Im doubting you have a copy of either Baldurs gate 2 or Fallout 2 laying around then? But thanks for your answer. I appreciate it. Im definetly gonna buy it now atleast.

Looks pretty nice, Samsung always have nice picture and screens. I don't know about the more intricate internal mechanisms, furthermore I think people should just stop saying each other's computers are crap. If it plays TF2, it works for me. Nice graphics perhaps? It's a nice bonus but not defining for me.

I recently got the NC20 in black. I think it's great for the price, just what I needed. I only wanted it for Internet access and a bit of MS Office work.
Decided to go for the NC20 as the display is a little bigger, not sure what else in the spec if different but after using it for a few days I am impressed.

yeah but when your parents offer you to pick a laptop, I think even you would pick a nice and expensive one.

No chance of getting Battlefield 2 to run on it, even at the very lowest settings. As I mentioned above, the Intel integrated graphics chipsets are the equivalent of long-outdated desktop GPUs, dating back to the GeForce 2 era. I had an NVIDIA TNT back in the day (actually, still do - two of them!), and I can tell you that they're absolutely outdated for any gaming with anything even moderately modern. I think the most modern game I managed to run on it was Ground Control, and even then, I ended up with overheating problems at higher settings.
Allrighty then. Ill get it for 360 then =)
