800 inch LEDs? am I missing something?

I can't imagine this ever being actually used on windows for TV, the whole licensing thing for a start. I can however see it being used in storefronts for fancy displays.

Still, cheaper massive tellies is always good.

I can imagine somewhat smaller versions replacing our home's windows.

Imagine coming home and it is storming outside, but at a push of a button your outside is now diamonds a sun filled park in spring.

or even later on, being able to program your t.v. windows into turning on/off depending if you are in the room or not.

Of course, the first few versions of this will be used in advertisements, it wont be in widespread home use until a few years later.
I'll admit, you got me with that. Bravo. I must say I'm interested in this type of technology, not for use as a monitor or television, but for casual background displays. Say you like the way the New York skyline looks at night, put that up along all the windows on a wall. It would be especially cool if you could make a day-night cycle that the windows could go through, so that no matter what, the skyline would be in the same time (dawn, morning, afternoon, twilight, etc.) as wherever you actually live.

I already have a solution to dreary weather. I'm using it right now:

Step 1: Pull down the curtains.
Step 2: TO THE INTERNETS!

Whats worse: You thought people were distracted driving the car before, wait till they decide to put a movie on their windshield while they are driving!
Just wait until people who can't afford their own start crashing into the sides of buildings trying to watch an accountant's Youtube playlist. If Kim Kardashian was distracting before, she will be the catalyst to society's collapse if Samsung is to have their way.

Did anyone tell Samsung about step 1? Because I think just step 1 is a much less expensive way to deal with a rainy day than what they're proposing.

But step 2, boy oh boy, that'd just blow their minds!
