There are very few cultures nowadays where this is the common belief or law. As far as I'm aware this view derives largely from religion, and so is not a view that should be forced upon people.Pyromaniac1337 said:Maybe the fact that at 16 you haven't matured enough to make that kind of decision. Sex is something reserved for marriage and marriage only, not as some recreational thing.
It sickens me how sex, the physical, mental, and emotional joining of two people, has turned into a mere recreational exercise.
This is very narrow minded opinion. There are far too many situations involving sex to generalize it like this.Pyromaniac1337 said:SexEd doesn't prepare anyone for fucking another human being. There IS an emotional bond between two people any time they have sex, and anyone that says otherwise is a God damn liar. If you don't feel any connection with the person you're sleeping with, you have no right to have sex.
Also, the end result of sex is always meant to make babies. In High School or at College/University? Even with a job, you do NOT have the time, money, or responsibility to take care of a baby, and there is no legal reason to stay with the girl and your new child if you aren't married.
Also, don't bring up birth control and abortion. Those are both just excuses for teenagers who don't want to face the truth.
To tell people that they have to have an emotional bond, be married and try for a baby everytime they have sex is extremist to say the least.
