Why the hell are the Scottish doing this? They have a name for battered pizza, and it's bought regularly by people.

Surprised there isn't more emphasis on the Scot part!
I just find it hilarious the two people responsible are named "Lean" and "MacLean". Get it!? Because it's healthy!

...and lo...every college student throughout all of the great Earth didst cry out in grand pleasure as their salvation had finally come.

Seriously...if I could get my hands on this and it doesn't taste like yesterday's leftovers, it would be awesome!

Now start making other things healthy for us. Hotdogs, sausages, french fries (Which I think would be impossible cause the potato is starch). Pop would be another great one to fix.

Make it so.

You realize they went through some pretty major hoops to fortify the crust and balance the fat/sodium etc. Right?

This is impressive stuff.

I was surprised the Scots created this, though I am always glad when people smash national stereotypes.

Uh hello Scottish health scientists? Please make a healthy version of the bacon cheeseburger. I love those things but don't want to die in my 40's because of them.

Except its scientists... and wherever scientests are involved that means something like this will likely be pushed out to market without proper long term testing and in 10 years we realize that the seaweed component actually causes terminal boneitis or something.

Not falling for it.

There is a major problem with nutrition and diets in the United States. Most people in the world already know that. As a young American man I just wish some people understood how difficult it is for many people in America to get a hold of healthy food.It is very expensive here for a variety of reasons,I'm not excusing everyone but I know people who actually have difficulty affording decent meals that are good for the body.

Yes, because nothing scientists have ever done has ever benefited mankind. At all.

Totally.

I'm confused. A pizza with numerous toppings contains the four basic food groups. It contains bread, meat, cheese, and vegetation. Why were we tampering with this?

Right, and nothing scientist have said has ever been proven horrifically wrong, or you know, not ended up killing people.

So no.. when it comes to scienctists and "creating" things that go into human bodies, No I do not trust them nor have they done anything to deserve such trust.

Totally.

UK, you'd better share that stuff. You saw what we did to Iraq for their oil, and we value that stuff about a quarter as much as pizza. You don't wanna KNOW what we'll do for this stuff.

According to 100 taste testers, the nutritional pizza is ranked as good or better than other frozen pizzas currently available on the market.
thats because frozen pizzas on the market are, well, unedible. your not going to beat my homemade pizza. but kudos for trying.
