Comes out on Holiday 2020. Just like when it released back in 2010. For those pining for this games or missed out I suggest you buy it immediately. Scott Pilgrim is 10 years old. Damn. Ubisoft picked a good time, because brawlers are big again. They knew what they were doing. Me personally, I most likely won't buy it. I played it at a friends, but never bought in XBLA. I thought it was okay. With games like SOR4, The TakeOver, Figh N Rage, and River City Girls (where Scott Pilgrims models after the most is the Kunio-Kun/River City Franchise) I've been spoiled by them. Though I still have not played RCG yet.

Can't help but notice that no platforms were listed in that trailer, makes me wonder if it'll come out on PC...

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Its not the best brawler but I would totally get it again. Assuming it comes to steam and isn't stuck with uplay, which it probably would be.

There is another trailer that was put on Ubisoft's Forward, and it's the exact same except it says what platforms it will be on. The game will be on PS4, XONE, Switch, Stadia (why?), and Uplay. No Steam or GOG release, because Ubisoft must hate the PC crowd. At least PC gamers still get River City Girls, so they don't miss out that much.

I have it time stamped for you.

Oh, thanks!
Well it sucks they're only releasing it on U-play I refuse to download that even for the free games, so I guess I'll buy it for my brother on Swich and play it with him during the holidays, but River City Girls does look neat and I haven't played that so I might give that a go instead.

As Steam deserves for it's support of shovelware, to watch as AAA game leave for greener pastures.

I can see why. My main problem with Scott Pilgrim is that the game is grind heavy. More so if you want to tackle hard mode and above. It goes back to what I said to CriticalGaming in my SOR4 thread, just because you add RPG mechanics or add a DMC-like upgrades system does not automatically make your brawler more different or better to play. The combat funementals are the most important. To me, the best brawler with RPG elements is still Guardian Heroes. The RPG elements worked, because the combat is still engaging, and did not ever get grind heavy. You could grind, if you knew certain hidden pathways and exploits, yet it's always up to the player. GH is still one of the best brawlers with the best juggle mechanics to date. A Sega Saturn game from 1996 was way ahead of its time. Treasure was always 10 steps ahead most Japanese developers in general.

That has nothing to do with anything. There's crap on Steam, but I've rarely ever encountered those games in my search. You have to go out of your way to find them. I never bothered, because I don't care. Every platform, console or PC has plenty of shovel ware products. The PS2 and WII especially were guilty of this. Did not stop the systems from having awesome games, and sure as hell is not stopping Steam. I'll take Steam over the Epic Store, Uplay, or the built up, false hype, that is the Stadia.

EDIT: While were at it, no thread derailing. Either keep the subject about Scott Pilgrim, or don't type anything and take your grievances about Steam somewhere else. You know me by this point.

The brawling is good, but yeah, the annoying grind is annoying, plus its easy to end up being massively overpowered by just getting the cybernetic arm. The game isn't well balanced, I think its mainly the graphics and music that really bring it to life.
