Screw MvC3, We Have Capcom vs. Eric Ruth Games

Okay, I'm going to be honest, here: I never really got into Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but yesterday's announcement of (and trailer for) MvC3 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/100071-Rumor-Marvel-Vs-Capcom-3-Coming-Soon-UPDATED] got my fighting-gamer heart all a-flutter. Morrigan versus Iron Man? Yes, please!

But that wasn't the only "versus Capcom" trailer that made me want a game I didn't know I wanted - oh no. Above, you can see the trailer for Capcom vs. Eric Ruth Games, a fan-made brawler pitting the classic Capcom cast vs. the brainchildren of Eric Ruth - you know, the guy who did the Left 4 Dead "De-Make" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/97251-Shoot-8-Bit-Zombies-in-Left-4-Dead-De-Make-Today]?

From the Capcom side: Ken Masters, Mega Man, Mike Haggar, Captain Commando, and that one zombie rocker from Darkstalkers whose name I can never remember. From the Eric Ruth Games side, a bunch of people who I don't know! But that's okay, because it looks like pure retro fighting fun.

I'm loving the announcer, though. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Fist Engines?" Pure brilliance.

Oops thats what I get for assuming I guess, but the vocal patterns in Astralia an Britian are consideringly similar though I've never read a bio on him but he's still Lord Raptor the undead rocker!
