Following the release of Scribblenauts in America earlier this month, I haven't seen any reviews or whatnot on the Escapist forums.

So I'm wondering, did anyone of you lucky bastards get the game and is it good?

I haven't got it due to lack of money
But I'm quite surprised that no one's done a review of it yet [small]( not that I know of at least )[/small]

it's odd, if I can't do something in a logical way, I try to make my character glitch through a wall or something

I have really enjoyed it, it just doesn't like me when it comes to fish

whenever there is a fish in the water that wont let me beat the level, my usual reaction is summon toaster, throw it in the water
this causes me to fail everytime

I have it and its not that fun. Sure it was great at the beginning when you can play around in the prestart areas goofing off, but in the actual levels the same 10 or so things are all you need for most levels. Sometimes you don't even need to write anything to beat a level, or the answer is one really obvious thing, even in later levels.

Half the time you have a good idea and the thing you summon is way too big or small to be used how you think it should be.

I have it and it quickly gets boring and I think that it would be infinitely better if it came out on PC, one more thing it uses the same models for a lot of things

The way I play it, they might as well have renamed it "Playing Around With Pterodactyls, Shrink Rays, and Ropes."

I think that's all you need to know.

I really wanted it to do well, but it's a little TOO niche. Shame really. Let's just home they don't make some kind of weird sequel on the Wii...

I have it, but I'm no good at writing in the analytic style found in most good reviews.

Control is awkard: instead of using the D-Pad, you direct Maxwell using the touchscreen, like an RTS. This leads to some awkward moments. But who gives a crap about that when you can summon penguins and make them wear top-hats while riding a unicycle?

Get it.

I played my friends copy. Only game I ever spent hours on the title screen.
