Scribblenauts Outs Humble Warner Bros. Bundle - UPDATED

The Warner Bros. Humble Bundle outed by Scribblenauts is now live.

Humble Bundles stopped being exclusively indie a long time ago, embracing partnerships with publishers including Electronic Arts, THQ and Deep Silver. Now it looks like Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be the next to hop aboard, based on a Scribblenauts Facebook post calling on gamers to "power your imagination for good!"

"Support the We Can Be Heroes [http://www.wecanbeheroes.org/] giving campaign today by purchasing the Humble WB Games Bundle, which gets you a copy of Scribblenauts Unlimited and 5 additional WB Games titles," the post said. The message has since been deleted and there's no sign of it on the Humble Bundle website, but a sharp-eyed NeoGAF user captured an image of the post before it disappeared.

Assuming it's real - and who's going to pick WBIE for a fake Humble Bundle? - the big question becomes, what else is in the box? Some Batman, perhaps? A touch of F.E.A.R.? Mortal Kombat? We've contacted the Humble Bundle folks for comment and will update if and when they get back to us.

UPDATE: As noted in the headline, the Humble WB Games Bundle is now live. Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, F.E.A.R. 3 and Lord of the Rings: War in the North are available for whatever price you care to pay, and those who pay more than the average will also get Scribblenauts Unlimited and Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition. All the details are up at humblebundle.com [https://www.humblebundle.com/].

UPDATE Part Deux: A pile of new content has been added to the "beat the average" section of the Humble Warner Bros. Bundle: F.E.A.R., Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, Guardians of Middle Earth plus the Smaug's Treasure DLC, The Lord of the Rings Online: Steely Dawn Starter Pack, Gotham City Imposters Professional Kit and the Batman: Arkham Origins Millennium Skins Pack. Anyone who already paid more than the average for the bundle will have the new stuff added automatically, and those of you who haven't probably should.

So many bundles, so little time to play the games!

I don't mind the blow to the wallet, but can someone make a Time Humble Bundle that will allow me to get 6 extra days for the price of one?

Either way, I'll be picking it up; as usual.

Edit: No, scratch that, Won't be picking it up. Fear 2 and 3 are awful. I already own the Batman titles and LOTR looks pretty average. As much as I wanted to pick up Scribblenauts, I guess I'll be passing on this one. It gives me time to work on my backlog at least!

It's up on the Humble Bundle Website. It's Arkham Asylum, Fear 2 and 3 and LOTR War in the North as the basic with Scribblenauts Unlimited and Arkham City GOTY as the beat the average.

And with their new 'Active on Steam' policy... I either have the games or don't want the games, so no bundle for me which I might use to tempt others into playing these...

So buy the bundle as a gift? The option hasn't gone anywhere. I don't see how the new key distribution system makes any difference in this regard.

That's a fair comment.

You can now use their gifting function to give friends games you don't wish to redeem yourself.

Oh god, that's pretty much the perfect bundle for me. I was still missing FEAR 3 and I really wanted to play Scribblenauts Unlimited. And the other games are a nice, nice bonus. Damn. Already bought. Damn, damn, damn, I need free time. Maybe in a week or two, oh boy.

I guess this is a good time to finally get around to playing Arkham Asylum, since people still keep on telling me how great it was and how shocking it is that I haven't played it.

(Okay, I confess, I'm mostly in it for the Scribblenauts. Mainly because I still think it's funny to make sure Maxwell always has a silver hammer.)

HOLY. CRAP... Freaking HIB are psychics, they always offer a game I'm interested in, I was starting to get interested on buying Fear 2 and Scribblenauts. I'm getting payed by next week, but I'll give 'em a buck just for Fear 2 for now, later I'll add to my purchase to get Scribblenauts :D

I am definitely interested. But tell me first, gentle escapees, are FEAR 2 and 3 any good?

FEAR 2 doesn't have the atmosphere or frights of the original but it's still a solid shooter and well-worth playing, and has one of the most memorable endings I've ever experienced. Not sure about FEAR 3, haven't played it yet - still trying to track down that ridiculous collector's edition with the glow-in-the-dark pregnant Alma.

Well worth playing eh? Strangely, that is not something that screams 'good game', but it is more convincing than someone telling me it's the pinnacle of things on screens. I thought Alma was like, 10 years old? What the f-

I think I'm not skipping this one.

So it's now Humble Corporate Bundle? I thought it was meant for smaller developers and publishers, not megasized AAA ones.

Fthreer is not that good. Pretty much took all the fright out, made it more or less a normal shooter. Do yourself a favor and play as the ghost dude at first, at least then it mixes up the gameplay a bit with the possession mechanic.

But hey, for 5 bucks, it'd say it's a decent timewaster all by itself. You got the other games, too.
